I had PPF applied to the entire front end including the hood, and yes, if you only do part of the hood, you may notice a line over time. That’s why most people recommend doing the full hood to avoid the contrast. It’s pricey, but worth it for paint protection. The contours are tricky, so make sure the installer has experience with your specific model.
