[Preorders Open] Plug N' Play Upfitter Wiring Harness

a cheaper option would be to just use the pigtails that are provided and tape off the ends of the wires until you splice them to a new accessory. This would leave some additional wiring in the engine bay, but doesn't require any additional investment.
Kinda what I was thinking yeah. Surprised nobody makes cheap bulk packs of simple molded rubber covers.

Ok guys, we're looking to open orders again. But first we want to put some feelers out, get a gauge on how many people are interested. Let us know!

Full disclosure: there will be an increase in price, and that's due to us looking into higher current connectors for (potentially) use across other Ford models that have upfitter switches, and also achieve full current use out of our 15a aux switches

Let us know if you're interested!
Round 2. I'm in.

Any update on when we can place our orders? I said in early in the month but never heard anything’s
still working out what if any update to make to the harness. the materials costs was a good bit higher than expected with the 25A capable connectors and larger gauge wire. so currently looking at a couple of ideas to maintain the full capability but reduce the cost some.

one idea being to remove the 12 pin connector in the middle of the harness. this connector doesnt come in a 25A capable variant, so we looked at 2 6 pin connectors that are 25A capable, but they are expensive and drive a good bit of cost.

so removing the disconnect would cut a decent chunk of cost out, but then you cant just disconnect everything with one connector. which is largely a nice to have, but not really required since you can just unplug all 6 of the 2 pin plugs if needed.

also looking at swapping to metripack connector(basically a weatherpack style). they are cheaper than the deutsch for higher current capability.

we are tying to harmonize the harness design into a single harness that will also work with the Ranger, which surprisingly has 25A circuits on it. by doing this, it could allow for greater quantity part orders, helping to offset the cost increase of the components.

its also a bit slower going currently cause im in full blown grille light production mode, so a lot of my time is going to that right now and not working this as much.

appreciate the patience from everyone.

I'm not worried about cost. Let's go.

i appreciate the enthusiasm, but not everyone is open walleted as you and it doesn't make sense to not make something that a small number of people want vs something that still works but is more palatable to a larger number of folks.

Good Evening Tremor Fam!

i just reopened ordering for Version 2 of the upfitter wiring harness. I am placing order this week, so shipping should commence in 4-6 weeks.

Key Changes to Revision 2:
There is no longer a limit of 13A of current on any of the connectors. We revised the design to use higher current capability connections and thicker gauge wire for the 2 15A circuits.

There is no longer the 12 pin connection in the middle of the harness. this connector was very expensive to use as the higher current variant and we really didn't think that connection added much utility.

Excellent work and design! Been watching your progress and I know it's been said previously however your work looks as good or even better than Ford OEM. Putting in my order thanks!

Any chance on a guide for install? Completely new to this. Been a Tundra guy since 2008. Lol

I also made a calculator as a build reference so you can lay out your accessory, the quantity, and a color coded go/nogo table for which Aux switch would work. Let me know if that would be useful to anyone
