Pro Comp Level Kit + Roush News

I’m not sure I will ever get over the shock of the tire choice. The rake I’m sure has to do with aerodynamics and fuel mileage, etc, etc. The tires though, I mean come on. Man that one irritates me lol. My FX4 had factory “AT” tires….. had 3 flats on the same tire in 20k. Yeah they were a 6 ply. Nothing like spending 60k+ on a truck and getting $60 worth of rubber to rely on.
This.

I'm drawn to two potential paths. 1) Live with the rake and be gentle on the tires for 20-30K miles then look at upgrades 2) Go upgrade out the gate and I'd lean towards putting in Icon front/rear, deaver springs and move to 35s. Hopefully someone on this forum runs out and starts modifying in the next 2 months before I get my truck so the feedback can drive my decision.

I've come to the conclusion that pretty much every OE tire is shit. Even the KO2s that come on Toyotas and the Raptor aren't the same KO2 a tire store will sell you. But still....to go with SL tire is baffling.

I'm with you, but not holding my breath for options anytime soon. So far I'm not happy with the solutions people have been "making work".

It may be time to publickly shame them for their springs and tires. So long as the control arms and knuckles work well, that seems to be the shortcoming. Maybe create a tremor gathering where we each have 2 spares and intentionally thrash our tires then insist ford replace them.

Has anyone recently installed a FOX kit on the front of their tremor?

There are people who have. Fox is actively working on a 21+ product with the 2.5 being available in the next couple months. I'll talk to the RC guys to see how long they would need my truck for to get the measurements they need

The RC guys yesterday disappointed me quite a bit, when I called them to ask about the interference fit with their 2” spacer kit the guy said he knew about it and because most of the time you aren’t at full droop they purposely designed it that way.

That's no bueno

Note to self: Do Not order any Rough Country products.
This has turned me off to RC products as well, however any spacer leveling kit that extends the overall length of the strut will cause the same problem. So I don’t want to pick on just Rough Country, most spacer leveling kits of this type are going to cause the same issue on our trucks.

The only Rough Country product I own, and will ever own, is the rubber bed mat.

Well, I have been considering this buying this one:

Just seems like bad company policy to knowingly make a product that is likely to cause problems.
They all do. For mall crawlers and guys who stay on maintained fire roads, they are probably fine. My dad just got a new Tundra and he is doing a spacer level which will work good for him.

Lmao. That cracks me up. I was considering their hidden winch mount but if I ever have to use it, I may find myself better off with that "product"

Oh my...

Called my local 4 Wheel Parts and they said they couldn’t do it because it’s not listed as available for the Tremor. Now I’m waiting on a call back from a local Ford dealership to see if they can do it.
