welcome, I was considering the Raptor but I needed the tow capacity. I came from a 2020 Lariat that I could have spent the money on to upgrade to the options I have on the Tremor or "Dumb Down" a Raptor for towing. I work on F-150 platform for the blue oval and have driven the Raptor R, Raptor, Tremor and by far the Tremor suits the needs I have a hundred percent. I have the 3.5 Ecoboost and love it, I thought about going with the 5.0 but I do not have the time to tinker and upgrade the engine (and I would) and drain my pocket book as well. I will do some upgrades to the truck when warmer weather gets around but still in my opinion a great truck. There are others here who can give you much more in depth thoughts and comparisons though I am sure. welcome

I sold my 2020 Raptor to a local guy so now once in awhile I have it rubbed in my face that I no longer own it, LOL. But after owning it for a year, I decided it wasn’t the truck for me. If I’m being honest, when I test drove the truck prior to buying it, I knew then that it wasn’t for me but bought it anyway because I justified it in my mind and told myself of all the wondereful trips I’d be taking. Truth is, I was underwhelmed at the power and felt that the Raptor should have always had the V-8. Yes, the Ecoboost in the the Raptor was bumped up to 450 hp but in my opinion it was still a fat and heavy hog. The truck is wide as hell and wouldn’t fit in my garage with my wife’s car so it sat in my driveway, which sucked. Combine the local off-road trails we have in Southern Calif being so narrow it just ended up being something I wasn’t willing to take out and scratch the shit out of at 105 grand. That’s with taxes and the 5k over and a few add ons I got at the time of purchase. So I’m with you. The Raptor is a beautiful truck and I don’t think there’s one that has better lines or looks more aggressive, not even the TRX, but that’s just my opinion. But for what it is and what I used it for, my Tremor is much better. Good luck with your choice.

All thanks for the responses and I still need to get out and test drive a Tremor and just check it out good. Even if I do that I still think I will wait to see what Ford does with the 2024 models before making a decision. I don't off road my Raptor I save that fun for the two wheeler as it's cheaper to repair if I damage/break it. So later on this year might be time for a change.
