I ordered these and I should be able to get them installed this weekend.

Thanks for all of the ideas. I ended up going with some slim lights underneath and wiring them to an upfitterView attachment 32598 switch.
I like your setup, where did you get them and were you able to use the brackets that come with the lights? Thanks!!

I used the brackets that came with the lights, but used them in the opposite orientation as directed so the lights would sit closer. I drilled and tapped some holes in the hitch to attach to

Nice, thankyou sir! They look great! Do you have a link to the lights by chance? If not, the google machine will work fine for me. :)

Been looking at different options for aux rear lighting options. I didnt want anything that was on everytime the reverse lights were on so i just wired them to my upfitter switch. I looked at diode dynamics, baja design, and some other options but i just didnt want to spend 3,4,500 bucks for some lights i only use a handful of times. If that changes in the future and i have problems with this setup i may change out lights. Anyways i picked up some flat steel brackets from the hardware store for just south of $5, the lights are some $30 baja design knockoffs from amazon, and i made my own wire harness that went to the upfitter harness i already had for front lighting. So far im tickled with the setup for what ive got in it.

Light output is well over 100ft back

Been thinking about chase lights, rear facing ambers. Came across this and think doing two rear-facing flush mounts into my Diamondback would be pretty cool - if I can fully commit lol.
And an easy way for them to strobe with the backlights of my ditch lights? Would love to figure that out.

I'm using the Morimoto light bar above the license plate frame. I dont like the clutter of lights below the bumper. The light bar is bright and comes on with scene lighting and reverse.
still happy with the morimoto above the license plate frame? Looks like a pretty simple solution

What have you all done for some rear facing aux lighting setups?
Added Diode Dynamics flush mounted SSC1 to the rear bumper. Fished TC (Tray Cable) inside the frame to engine compartment, and spliced to overhead console wiring under the hood. White led for aux backup lights, red back light led for aux running lights.

Yep. Adds a lot of light and no lights hanging from below the bumper. Much cleaner looking. Did have one fail, but their customer service was awesome. Sent a new one ASAP and told me to just cut the wire, send a pic and toss it.

Like your set up. Any chance you have a picture of the bracket and a link to the lights?
