Replacing rear shocks

This is what I put on my Tremor. The instructions describe how much lift you get on a Tremor depending on the snap ring position. It's 1'' less than a normal F150 if I remember correctly. I think the ride is fantastic.

So if I put the clip at 0 lift does that mean I’ll lose an inch ?

Yea I did the rears a week ago and I’m also am happy with them. I did see that on the Bilstein site, Im going to try to call Bilstein and get an actual person on the phone on Monday and get an answer to my question.
I reached out to Bilstein 2 weeks ago and they finally emailed me today. Here is the message:

I’m not sure if it matters but apparently Bilstein thinks so.

The "B6 6112 kit” will work for Tremors equipped with the 3.5 EB but, the 6112 shock with the OEM coil spring will work 5.0 equipped Tremors

Weird.

Just installed a set of Halo Aluma 2.0 rear shocks. Can't speak to anything offroad but the ride on the road is improved. They tightened up the ride and mutes the irregularities in the road better than the factory shocks. This is what I was hoping to achieve.

Hello, I have read several discussions here on replacing suspension or shocks and many are upgrading or modifying the truck. I have a 22 401A and overloaded the payload (long story and regret😩). The rear shocks seem to be damaged, I am getting bouncing, etc. Looking for recommendations for replacements, I want to keep the ride similar to the OEM shocks or improve without costing too much. Thanks in advance!
Bilstien 5100s are awesome. Stiffens up the back in a bit and I’ve read it improves quality when towing. Haven’t towed with mine, just picked up the truck but I’d recommend.

I was told the 5100 for the tremor are

B8 5100 Shock Absorber 2″ Lift Rear (33-318950) 4wd.

I went with an Eibach kit for all 4 wheels as the kit is specific for Tremor in terms of overall shock length, maintaining travel etc. Was one of the only ones that I was able to find with the help of a local shop that was truly Tremor specific. Even companies like Fox and Icon said that their kits were not long enough for Tremor, which seems odd. Probably could have overcome that with some extra work, but didn’t seem worth it. This kit will result in a small lift in the front only, I have a camper in the back which leveled the truck almost exactly when installed.
The Eibach kit seems like it will be a great, very similar to Bilstein which is also a really great product. I’ll report back once installed. I’ll be quickly taking off on a road trip that will involve plenty of on and off road driving.

Worth noting, I also have air bags installed in the rear, and E rated tires. Will also be installing Hellwig sway bar in the near future. All the above are to help compensate for the weight of the camper and the change to driving dynamics. The E rated tires were an incredible improvement.

I have upgraded my suspension with
HaloLifts/Elka 2.5 IFP front and rear and leveled 2.5 inch lift since they are Tremor enthusiast I thought I would give them a try I have also added 35Nitto Recon Grapplers 35x12.50R18LT F 128R w/mRaceline 951 BZ Ryno Bronze

The suspension did exactly what it was advertised to do - increased comfort on and off road and better handling, better cornering (body roll gone) and better breaking. Additionally the kick back you get when hitting curbs, potholes, tree roots - was greatly reduced.

Recently took to the trails in the Ozark’s and she handled like a dream. We had fun putting her through her paces from washboards at speed, to large ruts and steep climbs my new suspension’s reaction to large and quick changes in the terrain was better than advertised - One passenger who traversed the trail many times in his Jeep said “I still have my kidneys”. It was great fun for myself and all three passengers.

Having gone down the same set of washboards in both an F150 Raptor and a Jeep...I can empathize with that.

And those Racelines are cool looking.
