Reverse Bar Led Lights

That’s great news, may save me a few bucks! I have the diodes sitting on the workbench but chickened out. Do you know if the put a two diodes or one? IE, in-line if the upfitter relay and the revers lights harness? Thanks!

Add in tinted windows and pretty much any stock reverse lights suck. I also like the ability to flip my switch and use them for utility at night for loading and unloading things into the truck.
The 402A has a light up feature that turns on every outside light plus the bed lights and basically makes it a standing campground of light.

Nothing against extra lights though, just curious.

I'm pretty sure it was just one, sorry, that's all I know.

I have all of those same lights on my Raptor. Not even in the same ballpark once you have some good aftermarket lights. It's literally a night and day difference.

Nice that makes sense. You have a local shop here you like?
I had mine wired by Wanderlust Overland in Oregon City, OR

These guys have a variety of options with a great wiring set up (switch, reverse, or both options) that works for Raptors and in one of the instal videos they say F-150s too

I thought about this route but was worried about the extra draw throwing a code in these new computer trucks! I assume it’s all ok and no codes?
I have seen some kits advertised that tap into tail light reverse circuit with mentions not to exceed 2 amps to avoid issues. After reviewing the wiring manual, I’d recommend tapping into the reverse wire for the trailer connector. It is on a separate relay with its own 10 amp fuse. No danger of a code or over driving it with any reasonable reverse light setup.

I’m getting ready to install on of these hoping for a low profile upgrade:

I‘m going to tap into the trailer reverse lead with a diode and wire it to one of the upfitter switches as well.
