Sync 4a screens

I'm happy I have a 22 😁 I don't like the all touch screen in the higher trims of the Lightning. It seems like form over function when you have to go through multiple touch screens to turn the heat up and down.
The good thing is many of the controls are on the steering wheel or you can speak commands. I saw one tutorial on the 4a that showed using the knob to change the temp settings. Apparently, it's more than just a volume control. I guess I'll save my opinion until I actually have a vehicle with 4a. I like the new Expedition with the Stealth performance package, but at about $84k, not too likely I'll be buying one.

14...Do you think you could post that tutorial...Thanks...

Seriously! Even on my ‘16 I’d have to dig into the screen menus to turn on and off the heated steering wheel or infotainment screen on long night drives. And the agony that was mytouch and capacitive buttons on the wife’s ‘16 Explorer?!? Oh Jesus that was miserable. She won’t admit it but I’m pretty sure that’s why she got rid of that truck😂. Thank god they brought back the real buttons. I do love my big, clear screen, but I love buttons more.

Kinda off topic but I just learned you can screenshot your apple play screen..🤯

I keep waiting for an update where I can have the option to have an analog style speedometer and tachometer. I dislike the the way it is now.
I mentioned this on another post, but coming from an '18 Lariat I expected by now there would be more info/settings/personalization on the instrument cluster and more personalization on the nav screen. But it is what it is. I'm not sure if they are able to push updates to the instrument cluster? Would be cool if they could.

From what I saw in the GEN14 forums, a lot of people are saying the list of people they sent that email to is wrong. Should have been sent to those with 4a screens only. Like some lightning owners. No one has been able to verify, just a theory.
I believe only lightning and Mach-E have 4A.

There seems to be more personalization on 4a at the cost of few buttons. When you select your seat setting, it will pull up your favorite radio stations, climate settings etc.

Not necessarily 4a related, but I’ve been getting a lot of updates lately. Three of them in the past 16 days. The one I just got mentions “A small adjustment so your vehicle can prepare for future updates that are more complex.”

“More complex”

Prepping to install (more complex) Skynet probably.
