The item u need to buy is the OBDLink EX & then u download the ForScan app. From there u can make a lot of very useful changes to ur truck to include seat belt chimes, etc… I bought mine on Amazon for like $50.00

I have not heard of anyone having issues, but using the same device you copy the factory settings first & can at at anytime reset to “as built.” There is a “F150 Tremor FORScan” thread with a tutorial on how it works & using ForScan on here. Best $50 bucks I have spent on my truck!

Well like an IDIOT I didn't look in the manual how to change drive modes. The first day the wife drove the Tremor she noticed a slight delay/hesitation in response when she hit the gas pedal. I didn't notice anything thought she was crazy, I guess I am a little heavier on the pedal. I watched a video on here on driving modes after having the truck for 3 months and listening to continued complaints. Well yes there was a delay in throttle response because the drive mode had been on the slippery wet. Changed to normal and or sport and no issues anymore. Worst part was telling her about it and having to tell her she was right again as usual!

Curious if there is programmer that will shut off the seat belt and door ajar dings? Previously had jeeps and a Ram Rebel. Z automotive made a device that over ride some of the factory settings. Is there something like this for Ford?

You tube how to shut off the seatbelt chine, it's very easy. Door chime can be done with Firscan I think?

Mine (2023 402a) has an auto parking brake button that appears on the screen with the backup camera, I assume you're does not? I don't know if that was an add for later models, or sure is handy when hooking up a trailer!

That the B&O Headrest speakers suck

I thought so too until I saw a YouTuber take the balance/fade crosshair and pull the fade back to just behind the rear center console cup holders.

MASSIVE IMPROVEMENT.

The default fade is WAYY too front stage and not immersive at all. Putting the crosshair just behind the center console really brings the headrest and rear speakers to life. Combine with a HIGH QUALITY (not garbage streaming, Sirius, or radio) recording, set the settings to surround, and the B&O really shines. (Yes I also wish the sub hit harder but whatever....for now)

I saw that video ages ago and posted about it here. It does indeed make a difference. At any rate, they are just fillers and you shouldn't be able to hear them above the rest of the system.

Exactly. They are not intended as mains. More surround/effect speakers.

Don't forget the system is best suited for HD audio (no streaming services I know of have HD audio), next time you are in there, tune to a local radio station that has HD radio and you will get the full experience of the system (bass is still meh) but it really sounds good that way!

Ford is getting slammed big time with warranty issues now. They are spending billions and looking for ways to bring that down. You may not be so lucky now.

Did you know that when going down the road you can hit the camera button and it will show your hitch, so you can see if safety chains came off or maybe forgot to latch down trailer latch.

I kind of suspected this, but now realize for sure that when it says front and rear parking sensors, that doesn't include the sides. Just as soon as I pull into my garage, the camera goes off. That's the time I really want it to be on so I don't hit anything on the sides. More nickel and diming from Ford.

I just found out the tie off points on the tailgate function as a beer bottle opener. damn nice to have that there when there's a cooler in the bed.

Just realized that the manual mirror fold button only works with the ignition on (truck doesn't have to be running). Seems weird as I believe my 12' i could fold the mirrors with the button with the ignition off. I disabled the auto fold feature (just excessive wear really), but when I want to fold them i have to remember before I open my door. - Rob

Quick hint you can set it to fold on locking in the vehicle settings.
