Tremor Amber Grille lighting

I have these lights, with the PNP harnesses (401a),
About 50% of the time I get a hyper flash when using the turn signal/hazards, like the lights are not synced with the factory turn signals. I followed the installation directions exactly, is there something that causes this I overlooked, or a fix?

Truck signal hyper flashes? Something is wrong, mine flashes twice as fast when I have a trailer connected with a turn signal not working

is the truck turn signal hyperflashing or just the grille lights? very odd that it's not constant. I've had a very few reports of people with 401a trucks having an issue with the turn signal. but its really been a tiny % of people compared to lights shipped. The turn signal is typically the easier function to handle cause it's a regular 12v circuit and not a pwm controlled signal. the 401a is a halogen bulb though(i believe). if the truck is hyperflashing, then it may be a load thing since the leds have a different resistance than the incandescent bulb. but its odd that it wouldn't always happen.
 
Here is what it looks like when its off sync, again this is about 50% of the time, the next time I use the turns/hazards they are a smooth light from the middle to the outer edges matched with the OEM flashers. The video frames aren't affecting the image, this is what it looks like in person.
I'll check the connections and see if there is anything not connected properly.

its really odd that it does the double blink and then does a normal blink after.

the fact that both lights are doing it tells me that its unlikely an issue with the controllers. the likelihood of both controllers going bad in the same way is slim.

i assume its the same result when using the turn signal? what about when you unlock the truck? that triggers the turn signals as well. does it do it then?

My truck has been parked since late October, I don't drive it in the winter when they start pouring gravel and salt all over the roads, so this is just from sitting in the driveway. Has anyone else in the colder climates experienced this? What did you do to fix it??

I have a set of these amber grill lights I bought last year and never got around to installing and have now sold my Tremor. Anyone interested?
 
Saw a brand new set on fbook marketplace 🤣 which one of y'all are in NC and sold your truck before installing?

I bought mine a while back and finally putting them on next week probably. I had some alignment issues on my bumper and didn't want them to blame me because I installed something aftermarket

they fit the 2022. just a note that that set is from the second ever batch. they have the shorter wire leads and are from before i swapped over to all waterproof deutsch connectors. i'd recommend swapping the connectors out or at least wrapping the connections in some silicone tape or something to prevent corrosion of the contacts.
