I will check that and reply tomorrow, I recall the overall length very minimal when they were side by side. Spring rate I think is what makes the difference upon the trucks weight being forced downward.Dang. I really thought that's where For would have put the extra length to make the Tremor struts 23", but that's the same as Tremor, not shorter. Lariat struts overall length is 22", bar to mounting surface?
As for that overall length, depending on which side I measured, I came up with approx 22 3/4". It appears to me they are very close as I mentioned when I had them side by side prior to swapping, it didnt appear much difference at all, until they were installed, hence my mention of a heavier spring rate to compensate for sag (3/4" gain in height) and what I experienced was less of a "body roll" when in turns and when driving over surfaces that made the Lariat springs/struts bounce more and lean/body roll in turns.Dang. I really thought that's where For would have put the extra length to make the Tremor struts 23", but that's the same as Tremor, not shorter. Lariat struts overall length is 22", bar to mounting surface?
So it looks like Tremor has is own specific knuckles. But the parts search shows the same number for the upper control arms. There're actually several knuckles- 2wd, 4wd, BEV (battery electric vehicle?), performance, tremor, etc.All the writeups on the Tremor indicate that the factory lift is achieved via different knuckle, UCA and springs from the regular F150. Has anyone seen a side by side comparison where someone has taken these components off both trucks and laid them out side by side to actually document and measure the differences? I would love to see this, and what part numbers are stamped on each. Maybe even an exploded parts diagram of different trucks would show something?
If I go to any of the oem Ford parts sites and select a '21 XLT or a '21 Tremor and then search for the knuckle they come up as the same part number.
