Tremor Hood and Exhaust available on the XLT/Lariat/Platinum for 2022???

I think the Tremor is still the better looking vehicle (not by much). It's just not going to look as unique once these start populating.

Kind of a bummer, but it happens in all the OEM's to some extent. I was going to go with a Lariat to begin with but the jump to a Tremor for was pretty small in regards to price and had all the things I would want (suspension, wheels and some other features), and there weren't any packages in the Lariat that were "unique" enough for me.

As much as I am bummed that Ford is diluting the uniqueness of the Tremor appearance, I can't say I'm surprised that they decided to make some more money by using what had been unique parts on other vehicles. While the world doesn't need another option package, I would still buy the Tremor over the FX4 and Raptor because it fits my needs the best and am happy that I can get all of that in a factory package.

Front skid plate is the big difference for me. I'm not a fan of that low hanging plastic on the Lariat front bumper. I can see people swapping that out and making a "Tremor Clone". But people have been doing "Raptor Clones" for a while.

Exactly why I bought mine. Also, I wouldn’t have gotten a Raptor if it was the same price. I need that towing.

Same. Raptor doesn’t interest me. Too high profile and (this won’t be popular) played out.

Wanted to dig this back up in my research to swapping my hood to an aftermarket one. Recent hail damage appraisal indicates i need a new hood. I personally do not like the plastic vents on the tremor hood. Seems like the black appearance package ha an identical hood to the tremor and i am feeling like aftermarket hoods will fit but probably leave an odd gap between hood and grill where other models have a raised lip between headlights. Anyone have any reasoning why a hood from other trim models will not fit?

If I remember right, they will fit, but you will have a notch visible at the top of your grill for the hood latch -

i have ordered the cervinis ram air hood for the non tremor model and the top cowl pieces that house the washer nozzles and wiper mechanisms. The non tremor hoods are completely different shape on the windshield mounting side. That seems to be the only fitment issue aside from the tremor/bap hood having flat lip above grill. Tremor/BAP grills both have the arch at top and seemingly will follow the lines of non tremor/BAP hoods perfectly. I WILL be repairing the hail damage on my hood in the coming 1-2 months while my cervinis hood is in production/shipping/installation. My tremor/BAP antimatter blue hood will be for sale afterwards. Will sell the cowls and hood and should mount right up to non tremor model.

Heres a few pics of non tremor/BAP cowl top pieces as well as my tremor cowls

Sorry bout the order of the pics. My coworkers f150 xlt does not have the engine cover.. if you look, you can see that the clips mounting the cowl s are identical. I was going to post part numbers BUT ford really doesnt want people being able to order parts outside the dealer. The part numbers i was given will generate results for f150s from early 2000’s-current and not specific to any trim model. The system at the dealer would only allow to order the correct cowls with vin associated. My first round of cowls came in as tremor cowls since my account was tied to tremor vin. Had to supply a non tremor vin in order to get non tremor cowls. The system had identical part numbers for both tremor/non tremor cowls. Both the parts manager and i expressed our frustrations

I'm good with it if it means we finally get a damn bug guard
