Upper Control Arms

There's another option that gets surprisingly good reviews, I know I had a set of the rancho 9000 on a 2011 and they worked great for the cost.
I have the Ranchos on my 17, and they work great. Unless you are building something for extreme off-roading/desert racing, I cant personally see the need for spending 2x more. For the price, if Ranchos fit 21+ models I cant see a good reason to spend more, but the ones linked here specifically state 09-20 models.

They should still work based off what I was told by them, they just hadn't updated info, but then again that was them trying to sell something.

Any body running ICON? Just ordered a pair.
Running the ICON Billet UCA with their Stage 3 suspension system. I attached pics. First 2 pics are with the stock rims. The last 3 pics are with Tires off and I guess full droop. The front suspension level settled at about + 2-1/4 over stock with 295/70/18 Tires, 18x9 rims +6 offset.

Just need to clarify, how do you have 2.25" lift over stock. I see in the description your kit goes up to 2.75" but isn't that for a stock F-150 shouldn't a Tremor only net 1.75" max with the kit? How do you like the ride on the street compared to stock? Thanks in advance! Still trying to decide on my level kit while I wait for my truck.

I’ve run both the icon 2.5 with adjustable valving and currently running the halos on my 2018. If your looking for a better all around ride the halos are the ones to get, there a smoother ride compared to the icons but off-road is where the icons shine especially 40 mph and up.

This is what we were all trying to figure out in the Leveling Kit thread. I have this information on page 41. I pasted part of the info below. Sorry I know there is probably some way to add links or whatever but I am not the greatest of that. Before purchasing I have had a couple of conversations with ICON directly. They too confirmed what they stated on their site. For Tremors about 0-1.25 lift in the front with these kits. They weren't really familiar with the Tremors at that time because I'm guessing Tremors were on the newer side. Either way I went ahead with the purchase. Had a shop install. The ICON I believe come already adjusted from factory and I know the mechanic took a look and didn't make any adjustments to the collars or anything. Measured when I got home and again a couple of months later. Got the same 2-1/4" in the front. I just measured again today and the same. I actually expected it to settle a little more. I did call ICON on this and gave them the results I got. I got kind of a Meh response lol. Those guys were cool though. They were helpful every time I called. As far as ride, you feel a lot more on the street compared to stock. Stock ride is a lot softer. I was able to take it offroad a couple times. Not too many places here in Honolulu to really push the truck but it was as expected. Handles a lot better than stock. If you want an overall more balanced ride for both street and off road, there may be better options out there. I am not too familiar with the others on how they perform. I do like the ICONS and they are what I expected in terms of ride and performance. Just wish they were cheaper.

Stock height I got before adding the ICON stage 3.
Front - 38-5/8" from ground to right under the fender.
Rear - 42-3/8"
3-3/4 rake.

From middle hub to fender.
Front - 23"
Rear - 26-3/4"
3-3/4 rake.

After adding ICON stage 3 w/ Billet UCA and arriving home.
Front - 40-7/8"
Rear - 42-3/8" (same)
Front + 2-1/4"

From middle hub to fender ICON.
Front - 25-1/4"
Rear - 26-3/4" (same)
Front + 2-1/4"

Hi 808, did u off road your truck stock prior to adding the icons? If yes what’s your take on performance (key differences) and how high of a (quality) of off road difference between the two, high speed off road and low speed. I’m considering the Icons but I’m saving money, no credit card purchases for me.

I did but very limited. I should have definitely done more runs on the stock set up. The stock set up isn't really that bad, but the ICONS are that much better in my opinion. From the limited time what I got was with the ICONS, the truck just felt overall more planted compared to stock at all different speeds. No bouncing around. You feel a lot more confident with the truck at higher speeds off road. I think @ Aliass24 said this. " Off-road is where the icons shine especially 40 mph and up." I agree. The only real downside is they are pricey.

Thank you for the great description on the differences between the two setups.

I am having tires rest fitted tomorrow, did you get any rub on the +6 with 295/70r18? What tire are you running?

No rub really. I added older pics from before on clearance while parked. Running the Nitto Ridge Grapplers. I originally wanted to go with 35x12.5x18 but thought it would be too close to take a chance. I still think those would fit but would be really close and again I could be wrong. I would go with the Nitto Ridge Grappler or the Recon Grapplers. I think the Nitto's are a little bit smaller in Diameter compared to the other brands if I have not mistaken. I think Nitto has true measurements on their website but I would double check that.

Yeah, looks close. I have an appointment with DT tomorrow to test fit Wildpeak AT4w in 295/70r18 (measured 34.3x12..2) and 35x11.5r18 (measured 34.9x11.9)on a +6 offset 9 inch wide wheel. Hoping I have no issues with either tire.
