I got them from OEM auto art. They send a whole new set of emblems. They will also ask if you have the camera before they complete the order. That's why they are so expensive. I'm toying with the idea of painting my original set inverted to see how I like it.
Loving the covers. Looking at their website-did you order a custom order? If so what are the paint colors/color code to enter?
Thanks! Yeah, was a custom order. Paint is ford H8 electric Spice. You can look up the paint on touch up direct. That's where I've been ordering my spray cans do paint some parts my self. The image is take from a decal I had made at VIP auto accessories (RIP). Still have to put those on the truck actually... really dreading the process because I'm afraid I'll screw it up lol.
Got it-how difficult is the install?
The camera is right below it, it's separate. Won't affect you swapping the emblem. I will do a light write up on it on my build thread when I get around to painting them - it's not that bad. One full days work between dry times and whatnot.
I was a little worried about that at first too, but once I got the bumper and saw the aluminum plates I knew it'd be just enough. Can't wait to get it mounted this week.
Can you install a winch with the oe intercooler or does it require the fmic?
You can install a winch without having to relocate the intercooler. Not sure how much it will affect air getting to it yet, but it seems like there is plenty of ventilation so far.
