What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Interesting….
I thought the 2022 would have the same settings.
On my 2023 Tremor, said mirror folding can be turned on or off in the settings menu.
I learned something new today.
Yes, there is mirror unfolding on the screen menu but those unfold when you unlock the truck. My wife's Aviator unfolds after you start the car. My understanding is we can program the truck to unfold the mirrors only when the truck is started and not when the doors are unlocked.

wrapped some orange pieces!

limo tint and 35 windshield
Looks good.
Do the cops there really care about said tint?
I’m also liking that 94 octane fuel.
I didn’t know something like that existed at regular gas stations.
I guess it’s a TX oil thing.

Ahh okay.
That’s definitely more convenient.

Haha newest Sunoco store in the area!

As far as the windshield, during the day not as noticeable. At night it can be a bit obvious. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Also, opening the large sun shade canopy really helps light shine thru. That's if I am sitting at a stop light or see anyone.
Seems like a PIA, but it's not. love it in the hot summers we get here.

I have a 3ton ProEagle in my Oh Shit Kit in the bed

Did similar but I was hoping I could fit my bottle jack and inflator back there too. They fit without the panel/pushing the trim in a bit but not with the builtright panel.

I finally got my 2021 Tremor and drove it over 1000 miles.

Picked it up a day before moving, drove 2 hours home from the dealer. Then drove another 2 hours round trip to pick up my brother to help me move. Turned off the lane assist nanny as it messed with me too much to be useful.

My brother drove it the 475 miles from Tennessee to my new to me place in Illinois. He complained that the seat wasnt comfortable to him (he had similar complaints on my 2022 f350 lariat and my 2020 challenger that i sold, so i took for what it was worth) and that it jad a weird vibration sometimes.

Next day i drove him 430 miles back to his house, figured out the strange vibration was the alert system.
Today drove 430 miles to my new to me place. I had no complaints with seat.

Truck was agile when a stupid driver didnt know that when he has a stop sign he shouldnt try to turn left into traffic as oncoming traffic doesn't stop. Pickup with trailer in front of me did a heroic job of turning to hit the front of that car instead of the door, dodge oncoming traffic on left after impact, and not hitting a pole. I had the brakes on already as i saw the idiot pull out, swung to the right of the collision, and onto the road the idiot had just left. I didnt stop as a dump truck followed my lead and i didnt want one accident to turn into two. The rest of the drive was thankfully uneventful for the most part. A state trooper snuck up behind me with 30 miles left. I hadnt noticed him behind me when the car in front of me slowed for an exit and i went into the hammer lane to pass...i accelerated to 78. It was a 65 zone. I did slow down relatively quickly though and he must have appreciated that as he crept up behind me to see my temp tags. I dunno if he just liked the truck or something as he got over and passed me without even waiving. This leads to my only real but tiny complaint of the truck. Previous owner tinted the windows, including the rear window. It is enough that i didnt pick up on it being a cop behind me right away. I will just have to get used to that i guess.

Got home and after a few minutes of relaxing and a brb, the Tremor turned into a grocery getter. When i pulled into the driveway to turn it off the mileage average read 20.4 mpg since i purchased it. I need to find a shelter for it, a carport is in the future.

Installed F150Leds Raptor lights, license plate leds , and reverse lights. Don’t like how I mounted the reverse lights so I’ll be moving them further under the bumper somehow and also connecting them to the taillight reverse lights instead of the trailer lights so that they will work with the zone lights in the rear. Also the right plate led seems to be working intermittently :(

Those raptor grill lights look really nice! Pretty easy hook up to the wiring? Do they come on with the running lights?

They are extremely easy. I bought the optional harness that literally makes it plug and play. And the lights themselves fit perfectly in the 2024 grille. They come on with the parking lights not the DRLs but there is a harness to the headlights I think may make that possible. (I bought the one with the check mark)

Replaced the carpet mats with a set of 3WLiners. The fronts fit great but I need to spend some time fitting the rear as I have the Ford folding storage and something isn’t just right…
