What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

So I hate yellow warning stickers.
Cleaned up the sun visors with Amazon fabric patch.
It's real close to the visor fabric and even thought it's still a patch, I think it looks better the bright yellow stickers.

Link to patch I used: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DFTCCD37?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Hi all!! So I just traded in my old 2003 King Ranch F150 and picked up a sweet 2021 Tremor 3.5L 402A with 35,000 miles on the dial. I have been reading over this entire thread and am up to page 105. I have learned quite a bit already from you all and already looking at possible upgrades based on some of the great research and products you all have tried and shared. This new truck was babied and completely stock but did come with a brand new set of BFGoodrich KO3s! I have to take it back to the shop for a new wire harness to fix a rear parking sensor and hopefully it will clear out the crazy Reverse brake assist not available.

I added the tremor badge myself.
I don't believe they have the grills anymore... I could only find grills for the toyota and chevy.....weird....

How's the KO3? What size? Load E I presume?

Got my aluminum diamond etched State of Florida flag license plate with a steel Tremor license plate holder installed (FLA Native and proud 🐊). Tremor hitch cover with a RhinoUSA lock also put in. 😁

Congrats on your new to you TREMOR and welcome to the club and forum.

How's the KO3? What size? Load E I presume?
Stock size - 275/70/R18 - Load E and happy at around 48 PSI- I am not use to the stiffer ride as I am coming from a supple 28 psi Cooper Rugged Trek (37s) on my Jeep. I was thinking of doing the chalk test and see where it leads until I read that Load E tires really don't do well with lower psi. As far as road noise or vibrations, I think they handle very well and are nice a quiet in the cabin. You can feel a slight vibration compared to my father in law's High Country which has a more road worthy Goodyear. The only bummer is that when I got the truck home, the next day I had a low pressure reading. got a deck screw in the front driver's side. Thankfully, the dealer said they would repair it when I drop it off in the morning for the parking sensor wire harness replacement.

So exited for today i woke up at 3 am.

They are only ford accessories but hey, had to use the ford points before they expire. Picked up front and rear splash guards, window/rain guards, and a trailer hitch from the dealer yesterday. Wind was blowing 50 mph with light snow then so a little too cold to put them on but I will today.
I did forscan in bambi mode, temp numbers, and double honk delete yesterday. Might raise temp to heated steering wheel today.
The tremor steering wheel sticker is coming in today i think. Also some additional wiring is coming so i can hook up the side logo lights (generic) to the upfitter switches. Just about done with most i plan to do with the truck. On the fence about muffler- thinking to go with flowmaster. Anyone do just a muffler swap on their 3.5?
Do you remember how long it took before your Ford points showed up on your account? I picked up my truck on March 29th and still waiting on the points to be added. I need them to hurry up so I can get those rear well liners! I am super curious about a flowmaster or magna flow muffler swap as well on the 3.5.

So close to finished...until intercooler, muffler, and tune are more affordable to me. And close because vent lights are coming tomorrow.

Bad time of day for pics. Front shows bambi mode and if you look real close you can see the diffused leds hiding under hood. Didnt want in your face so i set them back a bit.

Rear pic- added the putco/ford rain-window guards and splash guards.

Interior pic shows tremor on wheel, woman over the starter, and you cant tell but matte screen protector. Also double honk delete and numbers on gauges.

Cheers!
Quick question on the rain-window guards-- It looks like the ones you have slide up into the window frame. I have always done this on my older trucks and prefer the inner channel version compared to other versions that require you to stick them onto the window frame itself. I thought I read on one of the earlier pages in this thread that the inner channel type can cause an error with the window sensor. Have you had any issues with yours?

I dont recall on the ford points- i got them in 2023 but never used them. Something about the dealer being a bit wonky. I wouldnt expect them for a month or so.
On the window/rain guards they go in the window. Mine are not perfect for the front row- issue is at the bottom if window gets rolled all the way down- takes a couple tries sometimes. On passenger front on occasion it trips the sensor- key is to not hold the up button too long. In general i am pleased with them- i never have windows rolled all the way down anyways. If you want a ton of air flow open your window half way and open rear window. My only problem is forgetting to close the rear window when i get out!

100% aesthetic. I did some decals too. Spring time gonna detail it soon, the wax came off and I can see some of the pinstripes from last year 😅

I’ll note that they are way beefier, but I’m sure the stock ones are already more than enough strength wise.
I wonder if these will fit on a 2021- Where did you order them?
