What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Got my keychain in. I wanted them to do the stitching in yellow and i should have said yellow instead of gold for the imprint. Maybe i can find some yellow material to do the stitching myself. The truck name is Darkstar (Grateful Dead reference/song) thus the trinket.

So far I’ve added the husky rear wheel well liners, ( I feel 80k+ truck should come standard with these), the running board insert letters from tuff skins look awesome and switched out the long antenna with an 8 inch one from ronin,( the OEM one was hitting my garage door when I pulled in and out). I ordered a front license plate bracket for my fire house vanity plate. Next is the amber side vent lights from F150 LEDS. Looking at orange brake caliper covers with the ford logo in black also.

Nice! I just installed the same letters on my running board as well. I think my next purchase will be the wheel liners. What do you think about husky? I have been going back in forth between those and the spray. I’ll probably do the husky. Was it pretty seamless to install? Nice meeting you! I’m new here lol

They were extremely easy to instal and look good. I had thought about just getting them sprayed also but the liners seemed pretty easy and inexpensive.

Sweet! Have you looked at the tremor colored tow hooks? Just an idea. I’ve been tempted lol

Just had the fronts tinted. Went with 30%vlt as Florida is 28% in front for trucks and suv's. Did the IRX ceramic top shelf, massive difference just on the way back with the sun on my side.

Hey DB! I actually have an appt to do my tint, ceramic coat and clear bra in a couple weeks! Also planning on installing a retrax bed cover. Your tint and coat looks great!

Nice! You’ll have to show me what that looks like. Didn’t even know that was an option. 😮

The ceramic tint is a real game changer in FL. I had a black Audi A5 and had that done, what a difference so I have done it to any other vehicle I own.

That’s what I’m thinking. I’m in Colorado and while it may not be as hot. We are closer to the sun up here so it will make a difference.

Yes it's definitely a MAJOR improvement over typical tints I've always used over the years, actually it was one of the guys here that led me to do some researching on ceramic tint. My fronts were $180 otd with the top lvl and well worth it already. You won't regret it 👍

Not exactly the land of merciless burning sunshine around here but I like the ceramic tint I did on Little Bro so much I pretty much knew I'd be doing Big Bro and my Power Wagon before Summer hits.

Really nice when the sun comes glaring in from low and to the side in the evenings and during the 6-8 weeks it actually gets hot if you park in the sun.

I remember it hitting high 90's when I was out there working in Forsythe and Billings but the mountain lakes were nice and cold to dip in.

Just got done testing my bed rack out. It’s tough to find what I wanted so I ended up making my own. I have a BAK Revolver X4TS so I grabbed a crossbar kit from Rhino Rack and this Reese Atlas aluminum platform. So far so good. I have one of those soft roof top bags I’ll use for weather sensitive luggage when I need but otherwise I’ll keep a cooler and some crates on this during camping and trips. I like that the platform has removable crossbars so you can still have mounting ability for other items/accessories, might work for a small kayak even. With a dog kennel in the cab and bed space dedicated for bulk and junk I have been itching to get this done and am glad I finally did it. I didn’t want something like a full overland rack and Rhino Rack crossbars have a quick disconnect ability from their base so the whole thing can come off in 2 minutes if I need full bed use. Tonneau cover is a tight squeeze but I can flop it back and slide it forward if I need, won’t roll up all the way but that’s okay.

Huge thank you to this forum. Bought a 2025 Tremor, then installed a smartcap topper. Was already noticing some squat and porpoising with just the topper. Then added a Decked drawer and the squat was very noticeable. Hooked up an empty single axle flatbed trailer and couldn’t believe how bad it was- this stock suspension is horrible for any kind of payload and / or towing.

Found this forum. After reading many posts went with RAS suspension assist on the rear leafs and changed out the shocks to Bilstein 5100’s. Soooo much better. No more squat, got the proper rake back, and no squat with A trailer either. The ride is sooo much better as well. Here’s a few pics.

The colors match extremely well in the rear (I've also noticed not all gold/orange are the same). The orange does have some sparkle and 3-D effect. They aren't exactly cheap but it would have bugged me if I cheaped out and didn't like them.

I just have a pressure washer . . . black truck is always dirty lol.
Thank you for the response! I missed the notification of your response! Sorry!

It's impossible to keep a clean truck during snow melt but got some new shoes. 295/70/18 wildpeak at4 on KMC 722 +18. Also, the nerf dart antenna makes me laugh everytime I get in the truck.

I can’t tell if your truck is leveled or not but did you have any rubbing with this setup?
