What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

The feature doesn’t bother me but I’m in the same boat as you.
I looked all over but nothing.
I wonder if it’s a feature that was added as standard equipment 24-25 vehicles or was it a feature that was added after a Power Up update.
I'd love to fix this. I have done and do a lot of work at night and I don't want to wake the neighbors.

How come mine doesn’t have that option?!
Don't feel too bad, at least your buttons are in the right place and the double honk can be fixed with Forscan. I can't use that to put the physical buttons I use most up where they belong like in your truck and my Super Duty.

Never know when you’re gonna need it

Where did you purchase that black extinguisher from.
I’m very interested.

I got it from these guys. I got Halotron, pricy but I wanted something that wasn’t going to ruin any electronics and make a total mess. They have dry chem options too. I got the bracket off Amazon. I was a little creative with it to get it to mount to the seat rail but it’s tucked away nicely and moves with seat so no interference with anything, should be upgraded to the quick release mount but for now this works. I’ll eventually get another one and keep it in the bed.

I love it but whoa that's a hefty price tag.

So very true!! I wished I had one when it happened to me years back but I watched it go up and it took less than 5 min! So it probably wouldnt have made a difference in this case as the Wiring issue within the door/lock was hidden. All factory only gave me 1 issue/warning then.... If you've ever watched your truck burn to the ground it like losing a best friend...

Thanks for the info and yes, they’re proud of them and the price reflects that.
Although it doesn’t come in black, I think I’m going to go with this one from Kidde for $25.89
It’s rated / made for chemical and electrical fires in vehicles.

I had the Kidde one and my wife just used it to put out a fire in an old ladies engine in the parking lot. Worked well.
