What's new

šŸ› ļø What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

What's the issues? I've been thinking about the "updated" KO3's.
There are widespread reports of the KO3 having significant balancing issues. This checks out with @Highline9 's vibration issues and multiple complaints noted on other forums. They are off the list for me for at least the next two years or maybe forever. I'll wait and see if they ever manage to correct the issue but there are so many other good choices these days.

I've been trying to get Ford to work on my front diff and they keep telling me the noise is from my tires... Which it is not.... I think it's just because it's a ton of work to mess with the front diffs
Yeah. I was dreading going into the dealer. I just didn’t want to hassle with them over the repairs it needs. So far the dealer I’m using is following through and doing a great job with the repairs done under warranty. I’m waiting for the new seat covers to arrive at the moment.

Also it helps that I turn wrenches for a living and was able to explain exactly what is happening and what it needs.

What i have done to my tremor as well as borla s exhaust

New to me 24’ I picked up last week. Has seen some rough washes in it’s short life so I tried my luck at polishing the B-pillars. Some before, during and after pics. Came out pretty good.

Also did a test area on the paint to see if I could get rid of a pretty noticeable scuff. Need to find a bunch of time to do the whole truck now.

Now that you polished the pillars, you may want to get the PPF to cover them... glossy long time :) OCD Plug sells a kit. I love them as you cannot see them and remains glossy while protecting.

Great idea! Thanks for the kit name.

Got a few things done!. Raptor Style LED Grille lights installed and hooked to an Up-fitter switch!, RAS installed.
Next are some A-Pillar lights(still looking) & just ordered the Diode Dynamics Brackets & a Tune.
Still debating SCT w/MPT or SCT w/5 Star. [Leaning toward 5 Star]. Then I think I will be done :)

Nice!. Is this a plug n' play or did you have to mess with forscan?
The steering wheel itself is a simple remove and replace procedure but to get the paddle shifters to work, NO, it’s not a simple plug and play.

There is a big ā€œit variesā€ on the plug and play. On my truck it was 100% plug & play. The only additional work I needed was to activate the missing heated steering wheel functions but the paddles themselves were already wired. The challenge is Ford suppliers seemed to make us play the lottery with how the harness was built. It almost can be truck to truck if the column plug is pre-populated for the shifters. It’s best to check firsthand if you have the wiring in place or not. Last I’ve heard they did seem to strip that out on the newest trucks but I’ve also worked on a 2025 that had it so like I said, it greatly varies on what end of the fiscal period your harness was built on

I agree.
The correct wiring from the factory is the key.
Ahh the good ole days when all of the wiring was already in place to add features from a higher trim level which was the case on my 2016.
Truly plug and play.

Mine required no wiring or programming for anything. All buttons worked and paddles worked.
I was told it depends on which package your truck has.

2024 5.0 fuel mileage on the way back to TN from FL (home). Cruise at 75 a/c on traffic was decent maybe 70-80 miles city and stop and go on the interstate a few times and maybe 30-45 mins idle time. Probably could've got 20+ mpg..
About 16k on the odometer. I'm happy with it šŸ˜šŸ‘
