What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Had the AS 1.5” level installed (note rake went from 4” to a hair over 2”).

Bedrug
Retrax pro XR
Front Runner Wolfpack storage boxes for under the retrax canister
I bought a used Retrax for my previous F250 and it leaks pretty bad in hard rain, does your Retrax leak at all? Thanks!

Depending on how you mount them intercooler relocation isn't necessary.
I figured with the license plate on the middle, and the two lights on either side blocking that opening there would be an issue getting air to the intercooler.

Radar Detector mounted to Mirror and Hard-wired !

Knocking a lot of the basics out this week:

1 - Husky rear wheel liners
2 - UnderCover Armor Flex tonneau cover
3 - LineX bed liner
4 - Ford/AMP bed extender

Have floor mats/liners ordered and XPEL PPF scheduled, just have to figure out window tint next.
Do you have pictures of the mounting kit for the bed extender?

I would love to do some lighting like this (either side of my license plate instead of a winch), but I don't know if I want it bad enough to relocate the intercooler.
@TJE if you're up for a little of fabrication, I have a design based on what I did to mount a 10"bar that puts two 3" BD cubes in those spaces. DM me if you want some more details.

Is it a bracket that puts them between the intercooler openings?

It's a bracket that relocates the license plate slightly higher (no camera impact) and would allow the lights to be placed in the intercooler openings. Here's the result for a light bar. For the individual lights, the end plates where the light is mounted would have tabs added to recess the outboard lights due to their mounting point, and place them in those outer openings.

Finally tint hhhhhnnnnnngggggg I can see again

Hello all! Took delivery about a week ago after ordering in March. Very pleased so far. Already had wheels, tires, and 2" auto spring level kit on hand to slap on when it showed up. Went with 20x9 Fuel rebel 6 wheels with the 20 offset and 295/60r20 nitto ridge grapplers. Just a little bit of poke 👌🏽. Next up is some window tint and a subwoofer. Definitely the nicest truck I've ever owned.

The decals are super easy to remove. If it's warm outside you can literally just pull them off. I took the ones off my '21 Raptor without any tools or solvents of any kind. If it's cold, you could use a hair dryer (or heat gun) to warm them up slightly if necessary. But in reality, these decals are so small, they will probably peel right off no matter the outside temperature.

Awesome ! The truck looks so much better without that decal haha

Well now that I’ve finally got the truck and got it back home, swapped the giant antenna that was blowing all around on the drive home for the stubby, and got the windows tinted. More to come, but very slowly lol

I have the Retrax powered cover and it does leak at the tail gate seal. Retrax said more fine tuning on the mounting should stop it from leaking. But it has to be a pretty loose fit to not interfere with the powered tail gate operation.

This week, I’ve done nothing spectacular. Worked far too many hours but, I did, however, notice a difference in my breathing knowing that the truck I ordered is finally mine.

Replaced the generic vent covers with a pair of new pull-off Lariat vent covers found on eBay, removed Lariat badges and added American flag badges from Iconic. Came out nice. Also did complete cleaning and coated with Battleshield. Far better than the bummer surprise when my Tremor came without the Tremor vents. All in, $100 for both.

Picked up a week ago and put on 2,200 miles driving home.

In the last few days:
-Husky wheel well liners
-FORScan changes (Glare-Free, no honks on exiting while running, auto heat/cool seats)
-B&M 5" Tow & Stow
-Ordered some little stuff (black lugs, screen protector, fob cover)
-Scheduled Line-X (for Monday)

Holding back on some other stuff to see if they go on sale for Black Friday:
-TuxMat
-RockBloks (standard, black/black)
-Diamondback HD (smooth finish)
-Builtright stuff (antenna, seat latch, panels)
