What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

Early morning Cold Brew Ice Coffee and AS 2 1/2" Leveling Kit install. Will drive a couple weeks and then get it aligned. Before and After Pics.
Looks good ! What size tire are you running ? I'm thinking about going back to stock wheels, with a bigger tire.

I know that these decals won’t be everyone’s cup of tea but I sure like how they standout against the white. In my opinion a bit flashier than the simple Tremor decal.

Swapped the lenses on my diode dynamics rock lights to the ambers that finally came in. Ties together all my lighting I think. Not to just do something about the white DRLs

Finished my running board lighting project.

This started as just stranded running board lighting intended to illuminate the ground.

But I was contacted by someone what was making backing plates for our steps that you can paint whatever color you want and see the color through the steps. I had mine pained tremor orange(thanks @cranberry for the paint code).

I do like this detail in the daytime. As far as dirt accumulating in the steps, the ends are open and so far stuff washes out pretty easy. I also have noticed less stuff kicked up along the door panels from the road.

Once I saw these and how they installed, I got to thinking about my step lighting. I didn’t really want the full up underglow look and thought it would be neat for the steps to light up. So I mounted my sidekick running board lights from Opt7 lighting inside the steps. And this is the result! The way it lights up the door sille scuff labels was an awesome surprise.

Do you have pics of the backing plate or a link/contact of where to purchase them? Looks baddazz!

Raptor headlights and DD SS3 fogs?
i actually ordered the DD OEM style fogs that have AMBER DRLs selectable...

I'm not sold on their headlights yet as i would lose the Glare Free High beam which i like a lot. their lights also don't bend around corners. And probably the biggest thing that's an unknown is really how they are controlled. the little info that's out seems to indicate a dongle somewhere to control some of the modes and I'm not into that.
Is the lower grille light bar still in the works?
if you just mean the bracket, yes. its just not been at the top of the list.

Now who wants spaceship lights? Hope you find time to do the rock light install and review thread.
:ROFLMAO: i mean, i only have one light in each wheel well and none under the truck. the 16 total that you want to run will be eye opening. but i'm right there with you relative to overall lighting. I "Think" i'm done with adding lights....

time to move on to bigger tires, legitimate suspension rather than a puck level, and building more grille lights...

Gotta go big and have the OEM lights redone with the amber LED, a few companies do it. Can have them painted while you're at it!

There's a guy on the gen14 forums that has all the DRLs in like a grabber blue almost. Easily $2000+ and you send them your lights.

Or... Go omega big and do it yourself. You can get the amber lights. Need a kiln to bake it back together correctly. You might be able to use a pottery shop.

from what I've seen, these lights don't bake apart very easily and most cut them open and I'm not up for cutting them open. i'd be all for swapping the DRL board myself if i could just bake them open. i've done that before.

You could always swap out for the raptor headlamps that have the amber DRL's? then sell these to recoup some of the cost

True, but raptor headlights don't seem to be super common on marketplaces and i likely wouldn't order new from factory for the cost. ill figure something out eventually.

They have a couple of other issues also from what I've read, its not plug and play.

Thanks! I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but I love it. The ride is similar to stock, with a tiny bit more steering wheel feedback but nothing major. I'm also hyper-sensitive right now looking for issues.
