What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

You guys are slow to this key fob, it does look cheaper than the stock one. But every time I pull it out someone complements it and wants to see it. So it's blingy in a different way.

The main reason I got it was to see if it would stop the constant panic alarm. I would always set the panic off when I was working in the garage or yard with the key in my pocket. Some times even in the house doing nothing. I would always have to keep the key fob in one pocket all by itself. Zero false alarms since the upgrade.
This is it. It's not about being a premium key fob, it's just way cooler and better feeling than the original. 🤙

And 100% it made my truck faster.

Had the AS 1.5” level installed (note rake went from 4” to a hair over 2”).

I tried a bunch of different boxes and landed on the Front Runners. I did the Pro's but they fit the best and are killer boxes. Someone needs to make a custom box to go under the Retrax's.

When installing the leveling pucks, are you guys removing the axle hub nut at all to lower the control arm enough to remove the strut? I purchased some 1.5" ones. Any other special things to be aware of when installing?

I loosen it now but did remove it when I swapped my struts

Installed Yakima skyline towers and crossbars over Retrax XR power so I could mount the four 1-Up USA bike racks that have been in my living room for several months. Took the family mountain biking right after which ended in a face skid for my son - now I’m looking for a full face helmet.

You’re better off leaving the axle. Mark your LCA bolts then take those loose.

TuxMats just showed up. Nicer than I thought. Little worried about the edges at the front doors catching my foot but need to play around with those little tabs some more.

I was worried about the same thing. I put the tabs on and haven’t had any issues with my foot catching the mat. I’ve only had them a month however. So far so good. I really like them, both from a functionality and aesthetic point of view.

Tuxmat for $200 or use FordPass points and get the rubber OEM ones for free? Or save points for oil changes-tough decision. I like the more coverage of the tuxmat but also don’t like it at the same time (aesthetically).

If it's any help, the Tuxmats look even better in person. I'm probably going to use my points towards a bed divider.

How much space is there under the retrax canister?

Probably the the kind of "what did you do" you'd expect but look what I did!

Someone pulled out in front of me while i was doing 60, I slammed on the brakes and swerved to avoid them but still hit someone further down in the left turn lane at about 30mph. Fortunately the curb slowed me enough to keep me from crossing full over into oncoming traffic.

Yikes, sorry to see this happen! Hope you and any passengers are alright. Insurance is going to be ugly but hopefully this is fixable!

Fortunately I was the only one in the truck. The lady I hit is also ok. The jerk who pulled out was released with no citation and since I did not touch his car they did not take down his info. Insurance already said they are going to cover it and the other lady's car. Sore and shaken up since this is my first accident ever. Not looking forward to the repair time. Fordpass app is already pushing out 4 different check engine codes and warnings.

The Ford OEM mats are crap, they look decent for a few months then they start curling and just look like crap, they deform to easily, they used to be made by weather tech, uncertain if they still are. My 17 came with them and within 6 months they were horrible. That's why I have the husky xact contour.

I had them in my ‘22 F250; they were ok, rubber was super pliable so I couldn’t see them ever curling, the new design at least.

I found someone who can make the Tremor decals for the husky mats…can’t decide to be cheap, go full coverage with tux mat, or have Tremor OEM look with husky…

No need. There is a video on you tube. I did not even loosen UCA nuts. Just twist it down to the top then angle it out. Piece of cake
