What's new

🛠️ What have you done to your F150 Tremor this week?

I watched the video just for the end!
I vote for tinting the front windows on that bad boy next.
i knew I had to spice up the video somehow! Nothing worse than a boring video of a guy blabbing on about his truck….I’ve thought long and hard about tint but have decided (at least for now) that the heat score would be to much. Especially since I’m supposed to run a front license plate and all my lights should have covers on them also not sure if you can tell but I have a heavy right foot.

Tint was the second thing I did the third day I owned it. I have the same color and the tint it looks amazing

Damn those Canadian laws. Mudflaps too?

Saved my stock tune and sent the form to Livernois

That’s not helping…..

ya you betcha! I still care about the paint on this truck so that wasn’t to big of a deal plus I got fancy tremor kickback flaps.

Well, that was the plan (plumbed together). That’s how I’ve done it on my other vehicles and it’s been fine and convenient to air them both up with one port.
The main reason for these bags for me is to reduce squat when towing a trailer or some significant load in the bed. I RARELY if ever have a really unbalanced load side to side where I guess you’d want adjustability from side to side.
Now I’m curious - and open to perspective - why not?
Makes such a big difference in body roll and sway. Takes 15 extra minutes and one more hole to do it right. Takes 30 seconds more to fill them and dump them, if you have a leak you have instantly narrowed it down to one side. If your load does shift its not going to exaggerate it. You have the daystar cradles so the small articulation benefits you get with the bags plumed together is mute. But convince and simplicity is important, I get it.

Cleaned up some field wiring, added my house power switch, printed and installed my switch pros mount in the SP, sprayed off some west coast dust.

And messed up a switch plate with a bad drill bit

Sweet! Got a link? I'm guessing the ones you got are for a higher lift. Wondering which would be good for just a leveled tremor.
With the lift, 37’s and soft rear springs my truck has had the worst axle wrap of any truck I have owned. I have been wanting to get a set. BDS had a flash sale for 20% off on traction bars. Not sure if it is still good. Code was “flash1”.

Code expired :(
I know BDS is a great company, but those are pricey. Going to look around and see what I find. With the tune going on and the level, I'm sure it will help.

Monday - Drove from Granger to Little Rock.
Tuesday - Tint on front driver and passenger window to match rear windows. Clear "tint" on rear seat windows and back window. Factory is just dye, so there's no heat or UV protection.
Wednesday - Line-x Premium bed liner.
Wednesday - BuiltRignt rear seat release. Once I saw there's stereo stuff behind the seat and really no room for anything, didn't need it.
Wednesday - Cravenspeed antenna delete plug. Put the factory antenna under the rear seat. I just listen to SiriusXM or Spotify.
Friday - Tuxmats installed.

Have the Halolift suspension components and the CVF Titan V2 intercooler and BOV in hand.
Waiting on:
Wheels and tires (Method Bead Grip MR701 Matte Black and Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT 295/70R18).
Heatshield sun screen for windshield
The OCDplug 12" screen protector.

See, this is what happens when you're on this forum 7-8 months while waiting for your truck to arrive!

Never a truer statement!

Livernois sent me the new tunes in a day, just installed the 93 performance one.

Truck is fast, real fast. Literally turned it into a raptor. Transmission is still learning but it's definitely better.

They were very helpful whenever I called, at first the instructions aren't super clear on what to do first, but you have to update the device before doing anything - that's why I couldn't get it to save my stock tune. After that, smooth sailing, very easy.

$700 for a raptor without the widebody and epeen, I'll take it.

Just need borla to release their exhaust 🙄

Alrighty here’s what I did today. VTA mod it’s where you delete the pipe going from bov to intake still need to find a better cap for the intake could only find a chair leg cap for now but the local race shop was able to get me this filter that helped make it slightly quieter and a more pronounced bov sound. Overall really happy with this low key mod!

Wednesday, deleted the larger section of the back seat in prep for custom dog kennels.
Thursday, deleted the Bushwacker fender flares....

What would you have rated acceleration before out of 10 and now with the tune?

Do you feel it’s worth the $?
