Wildpeak AT4W 35/11.5r18 load C

Great thread, would especially love to hear performance reviews, wet and snow both, as each tire crests about 10k mi. I'm far more concerned with wet performance these days, and that will be the determining factor on next purchase, but have lived in heavy snow for stints, and understand concern also.
I'm not that far in on my tires, only a few thousand miles so far. We don't get a lot of rain in CO, but when we do it's often a downpour. I've driven in a few heavy rainstorms with the AT4s and the wet traction was great.

I’m running 34 cold right now, warms to 36/37. After a few drives I think it may be a little soft. It’s ti wet for chalk test right now but I may try 35/36 cold. 40 cold was firm, but still better than my previous F-150 platty with BFG KO2’s in load range E. Really happy with the AT4s in C initially. I’ll definitely update as we get snow and when they wear.

When I did the chalk test, it was about 36 in the front and 35 in the rear cold for me. I have the load E AT4s and it seems like many on this forum are running 38 to 40 cold, so I had been trying 38 for the past month or two. I think I'll go back down to 35 cold again. Looking forward to hearing how you find them in the snow!

I upgraded from a 2018 f150 XLT w/ Nitto Recons on 20s’. Towed better than stock but wet traction was terrible. Snow wasn’t bad but not 3 peak rated. Went for looks and didn’t really think that mattered. Put 55K on them and they sill had 15K or more left.

Upgraded to 2021 Tremor w/ Wildpeak AT4’s and couldn’t be happier. I know 18’s ride different than 20’s but wet traction is amazing compared to the Recons. To be honest my older trucks/SUV’s with Cooper AT3’s were way better than Recons.

3 Peaks do matter in the north. Don’t skimp for looks. The Wildpeak AT4’s tow great. Hopefully I can get the same mileage out of them!

How many miles you got on your AT4's so far? My Recons did okay for ~first 10k miles, but wet traction is awful now, yep. They are indeed a nice looking tire though 😇

Are the load C much more compliant than the load E variants?

I noticed they don’t have the triple strapped ply.

I’m on the fence with these or 285/75/18 E

I just got a set of 285/75/18 E rated Falkens on my factory wheels. So far I'm really liking them after about 20 miles. They ride stiffer than the stock grabbers, but not overly firm in my opinion.

Currently I'm at 41psi in the front and 39 in the rear but may drop that a little bit.

I have my shocks set about 1" above stock height and had rubbing on my shock reservoirs and mudflaps so had to do some trimming/relocating. I haven't had a chance to max out flex to check all clearances yet but these are significantly larger than stock. I'm leaning away from getting spacers since that will make the clearance at the rear crash bars/mudflaps tighter.

I’m not an expert but those psi seem pretty high. Would be interest to hear how things change lower.

To keep the same load rating on an E range tire the pressure needs to be increased. 40 PSI is about right to match the load rating on the stock tires at 35 psi. Load range E tires are weird like that.

Dunno, 36 to 37 is pretty comfortable

I run about what you do, usually around 38 at all corners, for a tad softer ride, yep.

I've got about 1000 miles on my tires now and am really liking them so far.
Excellent wet and snow traction. They are pretty quiet (for what they are) and they seem to ride smoother after some miles on them.

I lost about 2 mpg compared to stock according to the truck's computer.

I've had some more time on these tires, and I like them. I've been through a few more snow storms since early November and they've done well. Originally, I had the PSI around 38 to 39, based on what I saw others running 295/70 R18s on here, but when I tested the contact, it didn't look like the outside edges were making full contact with the road. I now have them around 35 to 36 PSI, and they seem to do much better in the snow. I may have had them overinflated for a little while.

Anybody moved to/from these to an E rated tire and notice difference in ride on road or sidewalk flex off road?

Have had these tires (35”x11.5R17) for 2 weeks now and been chasing a nasty vibration around 70 ever since. Discount Tire has road forced balanced them twice with no noticeable difference. Hoping they will get some more in soon to switch these out. Pretty disappointed so far as these seem to get excellent reviews across the board.

I’ve put 7K on the AT4’s and still riding great. Snow traction was great during the one snow storm we’ve had just before Xmas. I usually ride 40 in summer when not towing but noticed that 38-39 cold seems just right in winter with E rated. Not too spongy.

Now I just need to figure out if should add air bags or sumo springs for towing so it doesn’t sag with the leveling kit.

I haven't been towing, but have had to put north of ~1300 or 1400 lb in bed to squat any with RAS installed (standard duty, and the lower tension setting at that). I do retain slight rake empty, with 1.5 spacers up front and rear blocks reduced (2.25" to 1").

Went with the 35x11.5r18 Load-C A/T4's. The ride is similar to stock. The tires do feel slightly firmer, but more stable in turns.
do you have a front and front corner view of these
