Wrench77 Overland Build

Looks GREAT man. Thank you for posting pics of the breakdown, I'm going to tackle this next. Your colors look great, honestly wasn't sure how taking off all the orange would look but it's better than I thought!

Just used super glue to put them back together I'm assuming?

How bad was the rear emblem? I saw the video for takeoff and it looks a little involved to say the least.

I'm planning to do the F150 and tremor in electric spice, and the currently black main large piece in Oxford white, emblems in electric spice/black.

Thanks, I used Loctite Gel Super Glue and it's very strong. The rear emblem comes off pretty easy, remove the tailgate cover and then you can access the 5 clips, they are tight but with needle nose pliers it wasn't bad. Your colors sound good, can't wait to see it

I like your set-up a lot. I'm curious how the rig handles on/off road with the stock suspension + readylift. Any body roll or is it pretty stable? Do you have plans of going after market coilovers?

Off road at slower speeds the body is not really noticeable, at speeds over 75 on the highway it is noticeable, but I felt there was some body roll when the truck was all stock as well. There are trade offs to everything when doing one of these builds so I'll just drive slower with the sharper turns if I have to. I will absolutely change the suspension setup when one comes out that I like the specs of and works with our trucks, so far I haven't come across that. Still have my fingers crossed that Fox will come through with something. In the meantime we've been taking it easy while off road and everything has been working just fine and the setup has been great for us.

Just an option for you Fox does make an universal valved shock that fits our trucks. Carrying extra weigh in the bed would or should make the valving about perfect.

@Wrench77 - Thank you for the insight on the handling. Having a tough time deciding whether aftermarket suspension is a must for an overland set-up but your set-up appears to be sufficient without dropping $3-5K on coilovers. Does your compressor have a dedicated line for the Ready Air?

The Ready air lines are ran to the back bumper and not connected directly to my compressor. It's actually easier to just use a bicycle pump to adjust pressure

Any downsides to the limited up travel that you've noticed so far?

I just got the readyair kit installed on my truck tonight but it looks like that spacer for the bump stop limits the up travel of the rear by about 2" since the airbag itself can't compress enough to match the stock suspension.

I'm a bit worried that if you hit a big bump especially with extra weight it'll bottom out on the bump stop.pretty easily

I haven't noticed any issues so far, but I haven't been doing anything technical either

A few questions

Are you still liking the Super Pacific?

Do you get Sirius reception still with it on?

Are you able to use the power tailgate to bring it up when retreating for the evening?

Did you get the onboard generator?? If so are you using it much?

Thanks

Pete

To follow up on this, was wondering if anyone else had feedback on the super pacific. Wanted to swap out my iKamper Mini for something like this. Worried about the wind noise along with the MPG. I know the MPG is not why we bought these trucks, but I did like the 20mpg I was seeing before I threw on the bigger tires.

Great setup. I am waiting on my popup topper, looking around for inspiration for build out. Yours looks pretty dialed in. Can you give a little bit more detail about the drawer system? How does it attach to the truck? Is there a base plate? Is it custom made etc? Thank you!
