1.5" Level Kit

Interesting. The tires don’t look bigger on the photo, which is why I was wondering. Can you measure the tire diameter of your Recon mounted?
Diameter is about 33 7/8, best I can tell, side to side, with a little bit of tread worn off. So, guessing mine new were maybe something like 1/4" shy of advertised diameter (34.29), but again, they may have been measuring with higher pressure than my current 38lb (site lists max at 80).

Makes sense. It’s always shorter than the advertised diameter. My stock tremor tires are 32.5" with 10k miles on them. My Bronco Sasquatch tire (territory MT 315/70r17 that people call 35" and that are advertised at 34.4") measured 33.5". Most other 315/70r17 are about 34" or less when mounted, so I expected less from the Recon.

Looks like switching to the 295 Recon nets about an inch of diameter, or 0.5" ground clearance.

On your pictures, I can’t tell the difference between stock and recons. Does it look noticeably bigger in real life? Still weighting going for those light recon SL, or the 62lbs Falken AT4W 35x11.5x18, or changing the wheels for 17" and then go 315/70/17.

The recons look noticeably more aggressive and substantial, with the heavy shoulder pattern, raised block lettering, and bead protector. I could tell a diff on size, yeah, but wouldn't say dramatic. When I see OEM grabbers on other Tremors, I can tell they're smaller, but again, not dramatic. Just keep in mind, as I'm sure you know, the tread depth of the SL is less, hence much of the weight savings.

In 21 I bought tremor takeoffs for my 150. At the time no one listed the specs for the grabber tire so I called General tech support.
Guy told me not only Ford but most oem tires are spec for different vehicles and most not all are smaller diameter so they meet cafe standards of a few more mpg. Others are just made to a cheaper spec( less quality)
Made sense at the time because when setting forscan the 33” tire it came in less.

OK got my 2023 passenger side reassembled with Motofab 1.5” puck and, at full droop (which could occur anytime one or both wheels are off the ground) I have interference:

- Outer CV Boot contacts lower Shock Bushing
- Upper Control arm contacts Frame
- Upper Control arm contacts Spring

Has anyone carefully inspected their leveled suspension at full droop to see if there’s interference like this?

I suppose it’s possible the 2023 struts were longer than previous years?

I have contact in all the same places with the auto spring 2” kit on my 2024 Tremor.
