1.5" Level Kit

Hey, any update on how the truck handled off road unlifted on the 295s?

I'm still curious if this is worth it, or maybe a small lift via Bilstein 6112s, or just going all out on the Halo off road package
We had a family emergency that kept me from going.

I like the idea of 6112s myself

Stock suspension, wheels and 295/70r18 Wildpeak At3w have been really good thru the 9" of snow and the offroading that I have done without any rubbing issues until it packs full of mud. Honestly not sure having a leveling kit would change that much because it only happened while having an inch or so of mud on the tire while articulated and as soon as I spun it off it wasn't rubbing anymore and hasn't. It was just the mud hitting. Oh and I had the wheel turned to the left about 3/4's. We get a nasty clay, black dirt mix around here that you gain 2" of height just from walking thru it so without some wheel spin even Mud tires will pack up.

Next time I will try to get some pics to show what I am talking about.

MotoFab 1.5” kit trouble. The OEM studs protrude from the spacer. Both spacers measure 1.055”. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

I did not have any issues. I think they are side specific.

Any Picts of the completed level?

How much Level did it actually give you?

Thanks

I talked to MotoFab and they were super helpful. They advised on Tremor their 1.5” kit translated to 2” on this guy’s install (see pics below). Since that looks almost perfectly level to me, and since I prefer some amount of residual rake, I think I will go with their 1/2” kit instead.

I have the motofab pucks. Definitely not level. Missing about .75 inches. Need to make sure to measure after it settles.

The link is taking me to a coil over package. I went with their pro truck setup (strut & spring combo).

It’s only been a few days so this is directional for now.
- no more “float” feeling around corners and bumps
- dead even on lift…I gotta make sure it was put in the right clip as it seems higher than it should be. Letting it settle before going back.
- haven’t felt any rubbing or noises from the front. CV’s don’t looking terrible for my type of driving…hunting and DD
I just got the pro lift kit too. Searching around the forum to see if anyone else went for it. Love how the truck sits. Which level of the snap ring did you go for for the front strut?

Off topic but just wanted to say I like the light set up in the front bumper. I was thinking of doing the same thing on mine. Looks really good 👍🏼

It’s on the 2.7” setting. I installed the RAS on the rear springs and it made the whole ride feel planted. Love it.

In case anyone is interested, you can get the Rough Country 6584 (1” block) if you call them directly. It’s about $60 shipped.

Just installed the Motofab 1.5 kit this morning. Gave me 1.5 on both sides and the rear moved 1/16
Was not a bad install on a garage floor.

Honestly that looks perfect to me. What mud-flaps did you get? I may up getting those as well.

I agree. Just the right amount. I can still put allot in the back and then I will be sitting level
Those are just the Ford mud flaps. They are simple, work well, and are relatively inexpensive

With the 1.5 motofab, I dropped the rear from the OEM 2.25" blocks to the RC 1" mentioned above, and added RAS, for a more leveled look, but with added sag prevention. Have found about 1000 in the bed will bring it down to level now.

That is good to know as I am also debating on getting the RAS too for when I tow my trailer

@ETN what preload setting are you running on RAS for this result? Also, you have SD, not HD, correct?
