1.5" Level Kit

Looks good. Did you go with this one? How is the ride vs stock?
The link is taking me to a coil over package. I went with their pro truck setup (strut & spring combo).

It’s only been a few days so this is directional for now.
- no more “float” feeling around corners and bumps
- dead even on lift…I gotta make sure it was put in the right clip as it seems higher than it should be. Letting it settle before going back.
- haven’t felt any rubbing or noises from the front. CV’s don’t looking terrible for my type of driving…hunting and DD

Ordered the Autospring 1.5” for the tremor and the spacer alone is 1.5” from top to bottom which I’m concerned will give me more that 1.5” with the spring rate once installed.

That is definitely not right. It is NOT a 1 to 1 ratio. There is some good information on here stating the dimensions of the pucks that coincide with the lift height. Just not sure where it is. Use the search button. I am sure you will find it

The Motofab puck I threw on was about 1" thick, best I recall. Maybe a hair more. Gave dead on 1.5" measured lift.

Thanks. I assume this RC kit will bring the front end of a Tremor up an additional 2.5" though, right? In other words, it already accounts for the 1" lift over standard F150, meaning an end total of 3.5" over standard? I'm looking to keep geometry changes to a minimum, and prefer retention of some rake (~1 - 2.5"), aesthetically and functionally.

I have (new) RC 2.5 struts and rear shock upgrade for sale  within the forum.

I will reach out to autospring but the error caused me to purchase another option. Based on my math the spacer I got that actually measures 1.5 should net 2.25-2.3 inches of lift. Definitely to much for the tremor….. and it was even listed as their tremor specific lift.

Yeah I was trying to mimic your setup… have the motofab kit in my possession. I just don’t have to lower my rear due to my suspension settling, weight in the bed, or both

Why is that too much for the tremor? Mine has exactly 3.5” of rake.

295/70R18s fit with no level. My truck actually sits lower than others reporting.

Per my understanding…the tremor already had lift included. The exact amount many will argue about but let’s say 1.0-1.5 inches from the factory. If you add 2.25 or more then your pushing over 2.5-3.0 and it puts stress on components and increases the CV axel angles.

I was shooting for 1.5 inches in addition to the factory setup to keep me under an assumed 3.0 inches to keep things simple and easy.

No shame in whatever one chooses to do. I do remember buying the truck and the dealer pushing the 2.5 inch level and then less than a year later the dealer changed their suggestions with the Tremors and now says 1.5 up front and then smaller blocks in the rear.

In theory you are right but due to a redesigned steering knuckle it alleviates some of that, what most have found is that a 2-2.25 lift is within the safezone of most people.

I'm sure it all depends on who you talk to, dealer etc, but the dealer here told me they do take into consideration the 1" that already comes factory on tremor for f150 warranty voids, on anything over 3" (ie, anything over 2" additional). If that goes into your calculus anyway.

with the 1" spacer giving the 1.5" lift, how urgent is the need to do an alignment? Is it don't drive except to the shop, or get it aligned when you have time and continue driving?

Love the look on that. Do you do any off roading with no lift & the larger tires? If so, have you noticed any issues?

I just got the tires this weekend so I have only driven on pavement. Have a trip planned to go out to the deer lease in a couple weeks. I am curious to see what I find out.

I rewatched that video on 6112/5160s and if I do find myself rubbing (or just want to) I might look into the Bilstein option on the 2” notch with the expectation of only getting 1” gain. My rake is around 2 3/4” after bed accessories so thinking a final difference of 1 3/4” with upgraded shocks might fit my needs. I have thought about swapping the rear blocks but I think I’d rather achieve my goals with different suspension.

Still doing my homework on the Bilstein option.

I can confirm that my dealer has also let me know that there is no issue with warranty if I lift the front up to 2”. But anymore than 2” on the Tremor can affect the warranty. I still use my truck as a truck at times so I plan to just lift the front 1-1.5” so it doesn’t look like it’s squatting when the bed is used. The rear leaf springs seem really soft.
Just deciding between FOX, Icon or Bilstein. Leaning towards FOX.

I just did alignment right after, for peace of mind, but sure you're prob fine for a little bit.

Hey, any update on how the truck handled off road unlifted on the 295s?

I'm still curious if this is worth it, or maybe a small lift via Bilstein 6112s, or just going all out on the Halo off road package
