Can tell I'm back in South FL... get to 4WP and the guys like oh we don't install customer supplied parts but since you're here I guess we will. Like I called twice and no one said that, why would a shop like this not install customer supplied parts? I've never heard of that. Charge me OK, but to just not do it?

Then he says he's not sure if the tech is comfortable installing a dash cam, and I'm like dude it's a dash cam, and one of the most popular brands on the market, I'm sure you can handle it.

I get the quote, and they bill 3.5 hours to install the retrax cover. Which is insane, but I already drove an hour here so fk it. The one closer to me is rated a 3.4 and this one is a 4.2, can't imagine the 3.4 one. The guy that attended me did not seem enthused.

I hope they don't fk anything up. I know some people swear by this place, but first impression is I need to find a good shop for the level kit and rims because I'm not doing that shit here. $1200 to install a dash cam, a compressor, and a retrax cover. Talk about rape.

That's what I was saying, a lot of shops won't install the items if you don't buy them there, I figured down there you might be able to find one though, you may have been better off finding a general mechanic shop down there. Hopefully everything works out for you on this and hate to hear about the problems. When you go to pay ask them for a bottle of amsoil or royal purple, that way they can't rape you dry.

They tried to charge me 8.5 hours to install the dash cam and compressor... they were only open for 5 hours between drop off and when they called me it was done. $1500 for labor and materials with my supplied camera and compressor. They adjusted it to 5 hours after I told the guy like what are you smoking, and even then thats ridiculous. He was like this is the last time we do this blah blah blah... yo get the fk out of here. Do not recommend 4WP to anyone that doesn't want to get raped.

Taking my retrax cover to the trailer store next to my house, they charge $180 to install it. Should've just taken the compressor and cam there, I figured 4WP being a national brand would be better. My mistake.

Edit: after it was all said and done, $1k to do the install of the cam and the compressor, and terrible attitudes. They put the cameras in stupid places and I need to move them anyways. They put the front one to the left of the rear view mirror in plain view, and the rear one all the way to the right on the rear window. Fucking idiots. And the guy has the balls to get upset with me, told me not to bring my truck there again. Gladly won't.

Truly sorry to hear this, but I've had similar experiences in the past with other off-road places because they don't want to install products they didn't sell you at 400% what it costs them to order.
