2014 F-150 Limited to 2024 F-150 Tremor 402A Coyote V8

Welcome and congrats!! I have done about all the mods that have been mentioned to my 2023 Tremor. OOPS - yep Coyote 5 Liter. A couple of other items I have done is the Corsa performance exhaust, sport model, and a Whipple supercharger along with a pedal monster. Get about 722 horsepower when tuned and 0 lag when applying pedal pressure. I agree, enjoy for a while before doing all this stuff. Looks great, runs like hell and I have had at least 15 offers from people wanting to purchase it.

BillfLang: Did you deal with Maurice at Elder? He's the BEST car salesman I've ever encountered and that includes MB, Porsche, Land Rover and Bently/RR. I was buying my '24 at the same time as you and had to buy from Bill Currie, even though Maurice had just left to go back to Elder (which sold: I know Rob Elder and had 'the' connection for Ford for so many years because of that) because my '24 Raptor R was coming in and I wanted to cancel and get the Tremor and sell the Raptor R to a friend.

Get the Tremor Orange tow hooks and EXHAUST. I added a Corsa Extreme set up because, in the words of the Blonde, "I'm insane" but it sounds incredible and NO drone. You can DIY in a couple of hours, couldn't be easier. I'd strongly suggest leveling and I put 35's on the stock rims with black lug nuts and it looks amazing. Very little rub and only at some weird angles, which rarely happens anywhere else except backing out of my driveway...
After that, hang around here more and find endless ways to spend $$$$$$$ on your Tremor.

Ohhh we got a rolls Royce buyer here

I was looking at a Bentley GT a while back. Decided to invest the money in a new restaurant company... But they did sell my 911 Turbo for me in their showroom in two days. Some pro athlete bought it with the Rolls they were picking up. Cost me $1000 to the salesman and I got sick $$$ for it albeit it was beautiful. Can't do the low ride anymore with sports cars. Nice to know car dealers. So, no. There's no Rolls in my garage. Same company owns the Land Rover dealership and I'm friends with the CEO so I did get the new Rover with no premium ($$$) when everyone wanted one.

Alright, Y’all.

I’m at the tinting stage. What’s everyone’s opinion on tint brand (and sub-brand) to use (it’s OBVIOUSLY going to be ceramic, because, you know, duh…..)? Interestingly enough, I’ve had an installer out in Hollywood who has done my vehicles for well over 10 years, they really like one of the lesser known/preferred brands & lines out there (Flexfilm Panaflex), and I have actually NEVER really had major problems with it, but when anything was ever an issue, they honor their warranty like no tomorrow. I absolutely love that shop. However, recently, they started offering the top dog iteration of ceramic from Flexfilm (Nanoflex), which even Tint Man FL (
) called their 20% iteration of “Vampire Tint”. I was DAMN impressed with the heat rejection on it (refer to video), and went with the 70% version of Nanoflex on my windshield, as that’s all they had of Nanoflex at the time, and obviously I’m going darker for the moonroof, and other windows. HOWEVER, and this might be my eyes playing tricks on me, but, it SEEMS as if this 70% Nanoflex on my windshield has a SLIGHT “blue hue/haze” to it, whereas the 70% Panaflex on my other F-150 windshield doesn’t SEEM to (BOTH while looking on the inside going out). That being said, all I have done is the windshield so far, and since that’s the case, I’m hitting pause and coming here to see what everyone else thinks first, and I’ll analyze and make a more informed decision from there. I’m open to going Llumar or 3M, or even Xpel. However, out of the 3, I am more partial to Llumar for sure, and they’ve been tinting car windows since before cars were invented, basically…..just definitely NOT their CTX brand, as, well, watch that video above and you be the judge. Perhaps FormulaOne Stratos, or whatever their top dog version is. When it comes to QUALITY, cost is “NOT AN ISSUE” to me, ESPECIALLY on tint.

In case it helps, here are my plans for “darkness” on each window. I, of course, want MAXIMUM heat rejection on ALL of them. 🥰

For the windshield, I want to stay 70%, so I’m not playing Ray Charles at night.

Front side windows: 15%

Rear side windows, and back window: at least MATCH the 15% (they are already privacy glass), or, if math comes into play, slightly LOWER is fine there as well, just as long as it’s not LIGHTER than the front.

Moonroof, I’m not sure on. I currently have 35% Panaflex on my 2014 Limited, and only went that dark because, IIRC, there’s a darkness threshold for that particular glass location that if you go too dark, it can cause it to explode.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to the comments! Thanks in advance!

The blue hue that you’re seeing is totally normal for ceramic tint however, XPEL’ s Prime Plus, which is their top of the line ceramic tint, it doesn’t have a blue hue. It’s black / charcoal which is definitely a preference. I don’t know of any other brand that has this feature in their top of the line ceramic tint.
You also have to take into consideration that the video you attached to your posting is also 7 years old so the results probably aren’t that impressive when compared to some of the newer tint tech.
Tint Man’s preference now is XPEL.
Autobahn i3+ by Huper Optik is another great brand
If cost doesn’t matter to you might want to consider Spectra Photosync.
