All 2023 models will be on hold.. 2022 repairs are still in the way, plus ford wants to make sure they are good to go! MB1 or MB2 builds i think they are called.

This should not be the case. I think there are already some '23s that have shipped. And I know Raptors were a huge and similar mess last year. People were getting '22s in November of '21 and some '21 MY trucks weren't delivered until April of 2022- SIX months later.

[Stone Gray 23' Tremor]

I'm new to the forum. I ordered my 23' Tremor in early September of 2022 thinking it may take 3-6 months or more to be built and delivered from what I was reading about other orders.



However I was surprised to hear my truck was being build in Mid/Late October and even more excited when I found out that it was done being built and would ship to the dealership in Early to Mid November!



Way faster than I thought it would take, but no complaints here, just excited to get behind the wheel of my new 23' Tremor soon!

There are some others that got picked up very quickly as well - I feel bad for some of the '22 buyers who waited 8-10 months. I also wonder if yours got picked up even quicker since it's a 401A...

I should have taken pics but I was caught up on picking mine up and didn’t. It looks better in person than what I’ve seen in pics. If it were an option for 22 I would have chosen it. However, I love the silver that I got.

Yeah, a pic would be great, but like you said a pic doesn't really do it justice. I saw a Stone Gray in person and that really caught my eye. Unfortunately Stone Gray is only available on 401's for 2023, otherwise I'd order that.

Newbie here. I’ve been looking through the threads and appreciate the information sharing, you are an amazing group and can’t wait to share as I personalize my Tremor. I ordered my 23 Tremor on 7/27. Ordered 402a in avalanche with 3.5.

Received my first email from Ford on 9/15 that I was scheduled for production week of 10/24 along with the VIN. On 9/27 received an email that it had been moved to 10/31. I was than able to track the order and see the window sticker and got the blend date which was 11/4. The tracker is indicating in production as of 11/05. Im bummed about the removal of heated steering wheel but I can live without it.

The kicker is I received an email from Ford on Thursday 11/10 informing me “While production of your vehicle was projected to begin the week of October 31, 2022, supply chain challenges continue to cause delays and uncertainty”. Im confused tracker shows in production as of the 5th but got that email on the 10th. Has anyone else have this happen to them?

Hi there and welcome to the forum. A few of us have been blessed with the grace of a nine month (286 days in my case) lead time from order to delivery. The email you spoke to at the end of your thread is generic and goes out every 45 days no matter current vehicle status. The only things we have established in the build process are as follows;

1. There is no rhyme or reason as to how Ford selects which vehicles will finish production. Some vehicles with an earlier blend date have been known to sit in purgatory lots with similar (if not identical) options while their younger brethren are shipped and delivered.

2. Ford chat, though can be helpful generally knows less than information/sources you can find on this forum. Though the tracker is a great tool it is only as reliable as the data input to reflect the outputs. To that effect, my truck was delivered to me this past Friday afternoon but the tracker still shows in transit. I have also found the tracker has at minimum a 24 hour lag from updated status to actual.

3. Though waitingis the hardest part (Tom Petty) it is well worth it as many have said. In reflecting and with some perspective I would say enjoy the journey, read up here, as you state you already have, and protect your wallet till you are ready.

I have as well. My vehicle (3.5 402A) was produced 10/31 and I received that same email a few days after. I have been told mine is on hold due to "stereo." I optioned the B&O Unleashed.

Mine is the same. I had a spray in bed liner option so I wasn't sure if that's why the status is still in production until that's complete. Anybody have more details on the "stereo" hold. I have the 18 speaker options.

Aghh man, I just ordered a 23 tremor 402a Friday, optioned for the front diff, spray in bedliner, and 18 speaker radio..... there's a "stereo hold?"

I was built on 10/26/22 and have a 402A with B&O Unleashed. I am in awaiting shipping, on the tracker it shows 21 others in this status. Anyone know how long they are planning on holding these trucks to verify if they can be shipped.
