2024 Tremor Bumper

Now here's another question for the front bumpers....

Would it be a possibility to have a way to mount and dismount the factory winch mount somewhat easily? Ideally I'd like to switch to the modular bumper and be able to put a winch on for times when I need it and then take it off with a few bolts without taking the whole bumper back off.

I have a 2023 401a and it has a metal rear bumper (literally just went out and put a magnet on it) not plastic. Mine is black, but it’s painted to match my Agate Black truck.
Yes, the 21-23 are all paint to match, it appears the 24 trucks are all going to be that very dark charcoal color.

I cant see how it would be a plastic cover, as there is no structure behind it to act as the actual bumper. The tow bar is part of the rear bumper, but it doesn’t act as the actual impact protection.


This looks just like the 21-23 bumpers, so you could order them in black (or unpainted and have them painted) if you’d like. Mine are metal already.

I doubt it to be honest. The winch mount uses the bumper bolts to hold the tray in place, along with the smaller bolts on the top of the bumper. I don’t think you’ll have to remove the bumper itself, maybe just 2-4 of the 6 bolts that hold the bumper on.
I have not seen the mount in person, so I can’t confirm, just making an educated guess.

So good news bad news today.
Good news first, the Raptor R bumper arrived, and just by holding it up to the truck it looks like this will be a direct swap.

Bad news, the Tremor Modular bumper I ordered was all scratched and dented up so there was no way I was going to take it. The dealer has ordered a replacement but it’ll be a week or so before it shows up.

Side good news, the tremor wings I’ve been looking for were on the shelf and are being shipped to me, should be here next week.

I still plan on working on this project over the weekend though, I want to see if the raptor r bumper will work for sure, as it would give us an alternative to use.

I will start up a new thread this weekend with pictures and progress.

It’s on, and fits. The gap between the bumper and valance is larger than the 2024 truck, which I knew going into it. But it does fit, and looks pretty good.

Pre 2024 Tremors have a painted rear plastic bumper cover (at least my 2023 402A does)
The new 2024 Tremor which I compared side by side with my 2023 is a black (not paint matched) and steel

Nice that looks great on your truck! now I want to see how a fy24 tremor > tremor swap would be. Since that's a raptor R bumper.

Not sure what you mean, the center section of the Raptor R and Tremor are the same. The color is different but that’s it. The wings are the only real difference

So MY24 tremor and raptor middle parts of the modular are the same.. that would make sense. How much was the modular bumper? Sourced directly from ford?
