I think the 3" kit is the same as the 2.5" Tremor Kit.

Questions for edwardlynch: Did you install the rear blocks? Assuming it needed an alignment as well? Thank You for your post and write up.

I did not use the rear blocks. In fact, I only ordered the struts and did not even get the rear blocks. I did not want to lower the rear at all, I just wanted the front raised to make it level.

Regarding alignment, it is an easy install BUT be sure to mark the lower control arm bolts (either spray paint or white out) and try to get them put back as close as possible to the original locations. Then alignment will be easy and you will not have to get the cam bolt kits. You would need 2 kits @ about $60 per kit.

I think I will do the same. So to answer an earlier question, it looks like all you'd need is the loaded struts part # 502059, not the whole kit, 510040, which includes the blocks and U-Bolts.

I have 20,000 miles and have had zero problems. I would not hesitate to take it off road but I mostly stay on the road.

I don't personally understand all the "leveling" kits. Trucks driving around with a squatted rear end look worse than a factory rake to me.

The trucks all come from the factory with 2-4" of rake. A leveling kit just lifts the front up the amount to eliminate the rake. Some use the blocks to lower the rear end a bit as well. Then, the only time that there is any "squatting" is when there is a load in the bed or if towing. Driving around without any load it would be "level"

Im familiar with what it is. I don’t understand why people want their trucks like that. Load up the bed and the back is squatting. Also, the geometry of lifting pucks on top of coilover struts blows out the purposeful design of the suspension. I suppose I’m all about function over form. To each their own I suppose.

The 3" lifts aren't pucks usually, they are the complete coilovers which usually improves the suspension. The stock suspension Ford uses on these trucks isn't that great, leaving a lot to be desired, hence why everyone has been working so hard to find the best setup.

Would it be safe to say that leaving all else alone that the best thing a person could do is to replace the shocks/ struts on the truck? - Rob

You can, it all depends on use the level gives you more approach and break over clearance if you offroad.

Thank you! Still trying to figure out how far down the rabbit hole I want to go and in phases no matter what. - Rob

Understood, if I were to change the suspension at all it's basically as cheap to go with a level kit and rear shocks as it is to just change it out, it all depends on what your looking for, if you want bigger tires then the level is your best bet.

Yeah mostly decent trails/ fire roads, nothing where I may get high centered (yet). Camping/ hunting/ fishing...but mostly daily driving, thus the desired upgrade on shocks. Am very happy with it, just the little bit on the suspension is a bit annoying. Thanks for the input. - Rob

I did not need the rear block. I have installed them before. Very easy.

Does anyone know if the 2.5 Tremor specific M1 struts ( 510040) are adjustable, like the 3" struts (502059)?

New to the Forum, could not find this, so apologize in advance if this is a repeat.

2022 Tremor with 56k miles and time for new tires. (mostly daily commute, but also pulling trailer for disperse camping on forest roads).

I want to put on 295-70R18 on stock wheels. Trial fit was a little tight so want to do a small lift/level.

Problem is the lifts from Rough Country and ReadyLIFT all say not compatible with Blue Cruise (which I of course have)

Any suggestions for options? I am open to any install that does not involve cutting, have done Rough Country lifts and suspension components on my wife's Wrangler.

Those tires fit without a lift, but all the suspension lifts or leveling kits say not compatible with blue cruise, it requires a recalibration if you choose to do that, many are running it without the recalibration though and I only know of one that was questionable on causing an accident.

Thanks! I'll take to my dealer first to find out about the recalibration. I appreciate the quick and direct response.
