DEAL 3% Under Invoice on any F-150 Tremor Order

New here, but I placed an order Saturday (4/2) and the above is what the dealer advised. Consistent to what 15+ dealers in a 150mi radius of western North Carolina all told me when I was selecting dealers.
Welcome from Charlotte. Did you pick a local dealer or go with Granger?

Local. Went with Ashe County Ford in West Jefferson, NC. Out of all the research I did before placing my order, I did not come across this site until late Saturday.
My neighbor owns a small Ford/Lincoln dealership just outside town here, I was about to order with him at great discount when I found this thread.

I spent a lot of time up in West Jefferson as a kid, my dad used to develop land up there. Is Boondocks still there?

I'm outside Stone Mountain (15 minutes or so) if you're familiar with that park and spend a lot of time trout fishing in Ashe. Try to stop by Boondocks every chance I get, still around and thriving. I ended up with antimatter blue, 402a with Torsen, tow, moonroof and work surface included. Ashe was the last place I checked and was great to deal with and pricing was good. A lot of dealers in your area, especially the I77 corridor from Charlotte to Statesville were quoting the above between 75k - 80k.

If not for Ashe I'm sure I would have found this thread and gone with Granger.

They were quoting over MSRP for a custom order? That's my build but added 2KW and Unleashed. I'll be out the door just over $63k. Well until I have to come home to NC and pay that HUT.

Yeah they were well over MSRP. I had the other dealers quoting 401a because I was on the fence and leaning more towards that. So that 75k was mid with the above options + bedliner and cover. So obviously well over MSRP. Higher quotes were from your area and Winston Salem area. Forgot I only went to 402a on day of my order and removed bed liner and cover due to lead times.

I can try to post in more detail later. But there is no scheduling this upcoming week for trucks.

We did receive our allocations for this month (April Vin assignments) and we received a total of 65 units that will receive VINs.
So I believe when I talked to Ashleigh most recently she said my order, A084, was 38th in line. So I assume I should get a VIN sometime in April (assuming they resume scheduling)?

I guess I'm still looking at July for delivery to Granger.

Any ideas on the A... numbers are sequential? If they are, I may be screwed at A99X.
Getting my truck in 2030.

Chip is the best!!!!!! I had the pleasure to meet him on January 17 when I picked up my Tremor.

As number 72 in line, this is disappointing, but exciting (assuming all 65 get assigned this month) that I'm getting closer. The waiting game continues...

Can someone help decode this? What can one infer from where production stands today and relate that to your own order code?

Your number in line is not related to your order code from what I can tell, just the order in which orders were placed. That said it's pure speculation. Even though I may be earlier "in line" @ORTTremor89 may be scheduled first if his truck takes less chips than mine or something.

Thanks for the response. My order is identical to what you have listed in your sig. I placed it mid-Feb, and given you haven't seen any movement, it makes me skeptical this is gonna happen even this year. While that's disappointing I'm even more shocked by the lack of process clarity. Kinda hard to plan anything without any details.

This is exactly correct

Go ahead and send us an email so we can give you some more clarity. There are a lot of factors that we try to account for when giving you an idea.

Roger that, sent a note to Chip. Thanks.

BTW, no shade towards Granger, was referring to Ford.

** Allocation and F-150 360 camera update **

Good morning everyone. Sorry for the delay in getting this back to you, but I wanted to get as accurate information as possible.

We have production information for the 2022 F-150 released this month. We received a total allocation of 65 units. That was broken down by 4 from the traditional stock vs sold allocation and 61 from COVP. What can we gather from that?

1. Production levels still aren't at previous to hold capacity. I have no official word from Ford on this, but on our previous 3 allocations we averaged 25 F-150s with the traditional (stock vs sold criteria) and 42 allocations from the COVP program. This resulted in a totl of 67. We essentially filled our demand with the COVP every month prior to this 2 month shut down with COVP Allocation. The fact that we only received 4 allocations on the stock side of the equation tells me that they are still probably wrapping up some outstanding orders in this production cycle.
2. COVP is working, but it won't be quick. - We use all our allocation to fill retail orders. We only get stock inventory if commodity restraints won't allow a retail order to be built. This allocation run we'll have anough allocation to fill approximately 1/3rd of our oustanding retail orders.
3. Production timing expectations - if there are no other setbacks and you place an order today. I would anticipate your order coming landing on the dealership lot in approximately October. Now production constraints may get better or worse, but that would be my best educated guess right now. For those with existing orders. I'd imagine they'd be fulfilled within 6 months from now (again barring commodity restraints.

360 Camera - We can no longer place a STOCK order for a Co-Pilot350 Assist 2.0 option when it isn't a standard item (i.e. Platinum, Limited). For Existing Retail orders if you have an existing order with a Co-Pilot360 Assist 2.0 camera, don't change anything, you should be good to go. New Retail orders can only be ordered with either Trailer Tow Package (53A) or Max Trailer Tow Package (53C) to be considered for scheduling. You can no longer order Tow Tech Package (17T) and still be scheduled.

Ford Co-Pilot360 Active (43C on 502a-901A equipment groups) You must now add Active Park Assist 2.0 Removal (67X) or the orders won't be elgibile to schedule.

I hope that helps and thanks for your patience on the update.

A little info I found on COVP while trying to educate myself.

2021 FORD CUSTOMER ORDER VERIFICATION FOR PRIORITY SCHEDULING AND ALLOCATION

WHAT IS HAPPENING
• The Customer Order Verification Program (COVP) will be opening to all unscheduled orders on all vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units)
Verified orders will receive priority scheduling and will receive incremental allocation

SUMMARY

Dealers will be able to utilize the existing COVP website on https://cni.dealerconnection.com to register retail orders for all vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units). Verified orders will receive priority scheduling and will receive incremental allocation. Vehicles that are not verified will still be scheduled but will schedule within the dealer’s earned allocation.
Note that while this program utilizes the same process as the Retail Order Incentive, only previously communicated vehicle lines are eligible for the incentive. Please check SmartVINCENT for incentive eligibility.

ELIGIBLE VEHICLE LINES
All vehicle lines (excluding Mach-E, Bronco and specialty units) are eligible for verification and incremental allocation through the COVP process.
• Mustang (Non GT500 or Mach 1)
• EcoSport
• Escape
• Edge
• Bronco Sport
• Explorer
• Expedition
• Transit
• Transit Connect
• Ranger
• F150
• Super Duty

Further clarification from dealer on blueovalforums: The COVP program has absolutely nothing to do with vehicles in inventory and is NOT Model Year specific. The program applies to unscheduled retail orders, allows Ford to verify that retail orders are legitimate upon reviewing the required documentation... and helps Ford to expedite the scheduling of retail orders and rewards customers and Dealers alike by scheduling these retail orders with incremental allocation!
