HOT! 4% Under Invoice on 2024 F-150 Tremor Order

Emailed Granger and got a quote back quick. They're saying 6 to 9 months for delivery, seems long but assume that's normal?
I waited over nine months for mine to be built, ordered January 22, received Nov 22.

Is the winch available as an option yet?

Thanks

Pete

Zach: Are you able to give approximate pricing on extended warranties for a tremor I have on order with no VIN number yet?
I just want to get a rough idea of what the different levels of warranty may cost.

Ordered a 2024 AM-Blue Tremor w/ the 5.0 and 402A package on March 1st from Granger Ford. Zach and his team made the process simple. After providing a small amount of requested information, signing a couple forms and putting down a $1,000 deposit (*Non-Refundable), Granger was able to place my order. It only took a couple hours total, and I promptly received confirmation from Granger and then Ford only 30 minutes later that my order was placed. Next step according to Ford is to wait for an update in about 45 days. One note that others may be wondering... * Granger confirmed that a full refund of my deposit can occur if Ford reports that they will be unable to fill my order 100% as desired. I can always agree to whatever offset Ford would offer, but at least you know you aren't going to get stuck making a choice to accept something you don't want or losing your deposit. Tremor builds are not scheduled to take place until late spring/early summer so wait it is. As others have stated, Granger said to anticipate delivery in 6-9 months. One last thing, Granger must take plenty of out-of-state pre-orders... part of the deal is their stated willingness (on paper) to pick me up from the airport when I fly in to pick up my Tremor - Nice Touch! More to report as updates happen...

@Whootie appreciate your feedback! Excited to work with you through the process and hopefully we see your vehicle sooner rather then later!

Read on another F150 Forum where Ford may have recently told its dealers to contact their pre-order customers to make them aware of certain material constraints that will prevent their Tremor orders from being scheduled for Job 2. In addition, I read that Ford states that builds could still be scheduled if select items were requested to be deleted. One item they mentioned were further delays with the availability of Pro-Access Tailgate assemblies, this particular item would affect my order IF TRUE. Can you confirm if this information is correct? Thanks.

I called in, removed the tailgate, and I received a VIN and build date the next morning.

What's the general consensus of the factory sprayed in bed liner vs aftermarket (e.g. Line-x)?

Not good news on the Pro-Access tail gate removals, that is one of the features which pushed me into the MY24.

@Whootie Ford has let us know that customers that do not want that tailgate, as they believe this will cause a delay in scheduling, can make the change to remove that for a credit. They did not instruct as to how long the delay will be if the tailgate is not removed though.

@zach@granger, are there any other items that Ford has reported to be causing unknown build delays? I would hate to delete one thing only to learn that other items are also causing delays. Thanks.

@Whootie at this time we are not seeing other restraints, but it is still early in the production

Ordered a 2024 AMB from Granger yesterday. Told them I would wait for the pro access tailgate so the wait begins. My 2013 Raptor is running like a champ so far so I think I can wait! Order process was quick and easy. Signed a few docs and paid the $1000 deposit all very easy to do.

Looking forward to flying in from Virginia and driving her back. FYI, their checklist does say they will do pick up from airport or hotel.

@Bax
Glad that you are happy with our process! We do try to make it as easy as we can.

Quick question for you, maybe you'll know, will the 2024 pro access tailgate fit the 2023 Tremor?? I don't think anything changed as far as engineering on the rear of the truck other thank cosmetic stuff. Thanks.

I’m pretty sure that some type of engineering was done since part of the door can swing out.
