Your situation sucks - it just does. But Ford doesn't seem to have a good way to go back and complete trucks that were previously held.
It appears that when they run out of commodity A, they complete trucks with everything but commodity A. Then when they get more of commodity A, they put it into the trucks running down the line. It's only when there's a surplus of commodity A that they go back and complete the trucks that are on hold.
Last year Ford delivered their final '21 Raptor six months after delivering the first '22. Ouch!
