Just got an email from Ford this evening letting me know my scheduled delivery of November 10 to 16 has been delayed to December 14 to 20. I guess they wanted to let me know in case I hadn't noticed it wasn't here. I'm hopeful but dubious in regards to the new arrival date.

Got the same thing last night, i dont believe that crap anymore.

Appreciate the input. Hard to believe commodity A that’s in a delivered ‘23 would be unavailable for a ‘22 (outside of the heated wheel on the 402’s). Would be nice if Ford gave customers waiting for super-extended periods some type of discount or PCO to offset the depreciation your “new” truck has already been waffled with.

I don't think that it's not that the commodity isn't available - it's that when your truck rolled down the line, they may not have had a certain 'chip' or commodity or whatever. Then when they get more of whatever was short, they put it in the trucks rolling down the line. Your incomplete truck over in the south 40 only gets done when they have a surplus of the required item AND when they have extra time.

I have no way to confirm that is exactly how they do it, but how else do you explain later builds having the same equipment that's holding an earlier build?


Oh, and unless you ordered something very specific, I would look nearby and try to pick up an incoming '23.

With two base prices increases from Ford since my Dec 2021 order and my original purchase price at 4% under invoice, hard pass on paying for a ‘23. I change or cancel my order and I lose price protection.

I understand where you're coming from. And that's exactly why I finally gave up on a Raptor - too many increases on the same truck.

If you plan on keeping your truck for several years, then waiting for your '22 is definitely the best option.

I keep saying I’m going to keep them long term lol. Truck prices overall are ridiculous. I’m just saying if Ford could at least provide some type of reasoning or even better, a little incentive, for the delays, it would be nice. That’s all, a little old fashioned customer a** kissing.

Ironically, my daily is a Raptor now (Gen 2). I appreciate your positivity though.

Ordered my 2022 Tremor in March. I've been "in production" since early August. Truck is sitting on some ramp that may or may not be real. Based upon a suggestion from Escape Hatch I emailed a few execs with Ford (email addresses a few pages back I think). I received a call from Ford Corporate last week. They still could not tell me when I will get my truck. I made the suggestion that Ford provide some sort of rebate or deal to anyone who has to wait a certain amount of time (6+ months) to receive their ordered truck. I was told the "suggestion" would be forwarded up the chain...translation, Don't bet on it!

I've been looking around for Tremors on the lot but no dealership wants to play. Ordered a 23 last week through another dealer. It's a race to see which one arrives first. Although I would think the dealerships will want to start moving the 22s off the lot soon. I still can't believe with the market turning the way it is dealerships are still acting as though MSRP is a "deal." Looking for a Christmas Miracle!

My only advice is be patient, your experience sounds very similar to mine. I would expect you get it within the next couple weeks. What is your build date and order date?

I just got off the phone with Ford customer support. Last email I got was schedule build and another that hit me with a delay. Lady told me my 2023 5.0 is built but on a chip hold. Eta delivery to dealer will be Dec 28-Jan 3.

Ordered 7/27 blended 11/04 built 11/28 received email on 11/30 getting ready for shipping “Our current estimate for delivery is be‍tween December 23, 2022 an‍d December 29, 2022.” Called dealer, dealer states 12/25. Not holding my breath that I’ll get her before the end of the year.

Mine was built the same day as yours. The last update I received was last week, letting me know my delivery date was changed from two weeks ago to next week. I wish I felt more optimistic.

Unfortunately, no check mark yet. Nor have I been able to get a window sticker. I called customer service this morning and they assured me there are no holds. It is simply waiting at the ramp for shipment. Hard to believe it is just sitting at a ramp ready to go for almost two months. You would think Ford would be wanting to get rid of it.
