Scratched? Like how? I’m just curious since one would think they would’ve caught that during the PDI.Well, went to pick up my truck today. Was scratched all to hell so I didn’t buy today. Dealer said they would fix it all before I sign papers and take it home, but we’ll see what happens. Kinda felt like a sign to walk away and stick with my current vehicle.
Scratches on the hood, passenger side door pillar in the plastic, and a big one on the back seat in the leather. And a couple on the tailgate like they used a dirty towel to dry it. There was also glue and left over pieces of the white protective plastic in spots. I straight up told the salesman you’d think people would be more careful “preparing” such an expensive truck.Scratched? Like how? Sheesh. That’s a crap job by the dealer. Don’t walk away just yet, see if they actually fix it. These trucks are great.Scratches on the hood, passenger side door pillar in the plastic, and a big one on the back seat in the leather. What dealer was it?Scratches on the hood, passenger side door pillar in the plastic, and a big one on the back seat in the leather. One in the San Antonio area. I don’t want to dime them out before giving them the opportunity to make it right. What dealer was it?
What options were on you're truck?I may have gotten my Christmas miracle. I finally received my "built" email this morning!! The email says delivery to dealership January 5-11. Based on all the delays, it's tough to get too excited but I'm happy for the movement. As a reference, order confirmed 3/29/22, in production 8/9/22, built 12/21/22. Four months of production, this truck better have a custom gold plated dash!
Nothing crazy. 402A, Torsen, trailer tow package, Pro Power. What options were on you're truck?
That's basically what I have plus B&O unleashed, fold flat storage and work surface with the V8. Its not looking good for a lot of trucks being produced right now.Nothing crazy. 402A, Torsen, trailer tow package, Pro Power.
That's crazy, I'm glad there is movement for you it's unbelievable. Only two things I didn't order were pro power and BlueCruise and I got mine after about 6months on 10/20. Loving it so far, just had my buddy balance the tires after Ford was gonna charge me $130. Each tire was minimally .5oz off. I watched my buddy balance them and now I know it's right!! Good luck buddy, sorry it's taken so long for you.......Nothing crazy. 402A, Torsen, trailer tow package, Pro Power.
You have a lot more faith in dealers than anyone I have ever met. I have seen some pretty horrific things make it through PDI, including scratches on a hood that were done during PDI and then the sales rep claiming the car was perfect.Scratched? Like how? Oh, heck no. Lol. I don’t have any faith in them. The good ones are few and far between. I’m just saying that it SHOULD be caught not that I think it will. Heck, his scratches were probably caused by the PDI.You have a lot more faith in dealers than anyone I have ever met. Yeah, it's ridiculous. We have trucks (not tremors) that were built after mine that have showed up.My 402A 5.0 just moved to ”built” after being on chip hold for over a month.
Hoping shipping doesn’t take too long but from what I’ve seen on here I should probably roll my expectations back
what was your initial production date?My 402A 5.0 just moved to ”built” after being on chip hold for over a month.
