It’s super inconsistent if I’ve learned anything from all this

They’re selling a 401 down the street from me for 85k . Seems like mine will increase in value when I get it to CA which is usually unheard of… weird times. I commute everyday so 60 miles is fine with me. Just happy that the truck is on the way… kind of

11/26 blend was sent to ramp 51 sat on “chip hold” for a month. Then I saw it got sent back to Dearborn yesterday and this morning woke up and it shifted to “built”

How did you find out it was sent to ramp 51 and back to the DTP? Is that one the window sticker or something?

Ask you dealer for a more specific update, they have access to a software to better track the process

Just got an email from Ford this evening. It's the third update on my delivery, which is now saying Jan. 12th to the 18th. Hopefully, the third time is the charm I'm looking for.

Well nevermind i on got on ford chat to get more detailed update on my truck and they said its on chip hold so i doubt i will see it by jan 6

Yep I had 53mi on mine! 3800 now!

I'll have to check it out tomorrow. Looks like they're closed now. Visibility shows released, which usually if its on hold it'll say "chip hold"or "to storage"

Ford chat says no chip hold so I don't know what's taking so long to ship

When the dealer checks VVR mine says “released” and “awaiting shipment” and on the right says “microchip hold at plant”
Two contradicting messages there. Talked to Ford chat and they told me to call a 1-800 number. They told me they’ve been driving my truck around so the “microchip…” is probably a glitch. VVR has been pretty reliable on dates for me so far only pushing my actual “microchip hold” for about 2 weeks. It now says the end of this next “awaiting shipment” segment ends February 3rd so hoping it goes to “in transit” sometime this month. I think the automated emails are misleading. Contact the dealer and they should send you a screenshot of the VVR

Question, who has take delivery of a 402A that has a blend date of 01 July 22 or later? Are all of us with blend dates after 01 July currently in chip hold purgatory together?

I had mine ordered in July. Still waiting.

Bought for my wife (not happy) who needs the heated wheel, dealer told me back in October I would have the heated wheel Alas it didn't have it. He said if I wanted he would have it installed for $2000, once the chip is available. I did not take it. If anyone is interested see Joe Walker at Buss Ford in McHenry, IL.
