Good news for new orders. My partner at work picked up his new Lariat on Monday and it has a heated steering wheel!
Maybe I should’ve waited for the Tremor after all. Lol

Oh yeah, and the Tremor finally shipped!

Damn, still trying to figure out how people are getting 401A’s with steering wheel heat and bed cameras, and my 402A enroute from the factory built in the same timeframe as all these others still has a window sticker showing both of those items removed…

In the same boat, wondering if the dealers we put our orders through didn't know you could leave them on the order now? Would have much rather had all those removals included instead of having the hassle (and cost) of putting them back on later...

Interesting - mine shipped 6/22 and still waiting for it to get to the dealer in NW Iowa. Where are you located for comparison, if I may ask?

I intend to broach the subject when the truck is delivered. I meant to do it the other day, and forgot through all the numbers haggling we were doing.

IMHO, it’s something I ordered specifically, and they removed without my knowledge; so I would pay the cost shown on the sticker for them to add it back on at the dealer when the parts are available. Sounds simple to me?

Did the heated steering wheel still show as removed on the window sticker of your partners lariat?

Central NY. The Ford Online Tracker originally had my delivery date at the 3rd, but it kept getting pushed out. Last time I checked the projected date was the 20th. However, when I went into the dealer on Monday to look at a potentially different truck, the dealer pulled up a website and tracked the individual truck showing it was 3 hours away (but had stopped for the night). You might want to ask your dealer if they can track it for you as well.

FWIW: I just bought my 402a off the lot, but the sticker says "SPECIAL ORDER" at the bottom and the date was 03 29 23. It came without heated steering wheel, auto start/stop, advanced security pack, and chmsl camera.

Sounds like the customer cancelled. I'm seeing some Tremors on my dealers lot with blue stickers. Stock is starting to pile up. trucks on the lot were almost non existent not long ago. F-150's alone are around 150 in stock now.

Do you know if the Heated steering wheel removal option was selected on his order? My understanding is the production wouldn't begin if that option wasn't available at the factory. Just ordered mine last week, Heated steering wheel removal option was selected.

He did not select heated steering wheel, it was another $4k here in Canada which came with rear heated seats which he opted out. He was very shocked when he picked it up and it had it.
I asked him for a picture of the window sticker, I’ll post it tonight after work.

I did read that they're still including the heated steering wheel in Canada trucks, so that might be the main difference.

I quit asking them to check VINview; kept telling me they don’t have that.

really??

I just checked again after forcing myself to not keep checking throughout the day. It finally shows now final preparation, so I assume that means it’s at the dealer (even though I haven’t heard from yet)…
