402A Deliveries?

Ordered mine on Sept. 19, 2022 and it arrived on April 15, 2023. 402A Carbonized Gray, no rust.

Well, most painful days! 😂

After nearly 2 months from order to completion my loaded 402a is ready for me. I say nearly two months as words of encouragement, not criticism, for those waiting. For anyone wondering, I do mean loaded, including factory spray in liner, etc…only thing I skipped was BlueCruise. Pickup in Dearborn. I’m out of town, hopefully I’ll grab it on no later than Tuesday.

That's nearly back to what normal was 3 years ago. It took me about 6 months to get mine and that's with my dealer working with Ford to get it moved to priority 2 to make up for an issue I previously had with them.

I think right now the delays are less about build times, but more about the delivery/shipping to the dealers. On a couple of the Tremor (and general f150/Ecoboost) FB groups, it seems like that is where the overwhelming pain point is. It was inevitable during Covid, when the plants couldn’t build them, and volume was down - shipping companies adapted to stay afloat. Now that the plants are getting back to production numbers, they can’t move them out fast enough. I think I saw that one guy had been waiting 2 1/2 to 3 months for delivery.

My case is not normal, as I had no shipping/traditional delivery to a dealer. I’m picking mine up direct in Dearborn.

Ordered 12-16-22 and just received the 3rd sorry we dont have parts email. Already removed the spray in liner and pro power and my dealer is saying there isn't any parts hold on it. Anyone else in the same boat?

Most recent issue I've heard about is door handles not available. Also, PPF will all but guarantee it will go on hold.

Ordered in September with every item checked except blue cruise and spray in liner.

It’s still on hold, I caved last month and found one at a dealer with all the options minus the pro power and spray in liner. Curious to see when my original order will ship sheesh.

checked almost everything except blue cruise as well. Been very close to caving several times, but haven't seen anything close to what I have ordered locally.

How are they letting you pickup at factory?

Not sure I'd want to find out. You're signing a legal document. Injunctive relief means they'll want some $$. I heard this was back for Bronco orders. Surprised they're doing it on Tremor.
How would they know if you didn't title it under the name they ordered it under? What could they do to you if you did?
They wouldn’t and would then need to sue to enforce. The likelihood of that is almost zero. It’s a disincentive is all. What are the damages for selling? So many other questions….

I say all this as a lawyer licensed in Iowa. However, this is not legal advice and I personally wouldn’t mind signing because I intend to keep vehicle and deem the document unenforceable anyway.

what reasons other than a bedliner would a truck be sent offsite? mine shows produced but shipped offsite. ordered same as last time and it didn't go offsite last time.

Bedliner is the usual one. Pretty sure also PPF, tonneau covers, trailer hitches etc.

I didnt order any of that stuff just to avoid offsite delays and it still goes offsite 😆

Mine was ordered in Jan built May 26 and now sent offsite. Weird thing is there's no reason for it to go offsite

Checked communications today, sent offsite to storage 😴
