Axle rust?

I think those rear ends sit outside some where before they are brought in to the assembly line that's why they rust.

Speaking of the rust, this product has been highly recommended by many fab shops. It's super expensive,$32.00 a can. If I ever get a truck I am going to give it a try. Should be a little easier than the POR-15.

I did POR-15 with an old brush. It will drip so watch out for that. But it looks very nice now. 30 bucks and an hour of work, not too bad. I only hit the rear axle/diff/etc. I had no other rust.

I bought the "kit" with POR-15 that included the cleaner/degreaser , the prep, and the paint. The product went on real nice, and was very shiny and had no brush strokes. The worst thing was trying to coat the very top of the differential. As noted, there did not seem to be any other rust on the rest of the truck's underbody...............

Got the call this morning and just picked my truck up. Just wanted to share that I had no axel rust whatsoever. Hopefully moving forward no one else will either.

Yes, hot off the line with 20 miles on it.

Picked up mine with 36 miles Tuesday. I am currently at 322. I had ordered late 2019 dodge ram that I sold to the dealer mid January it had 110,000 miles on it

If you find rust you'll be scuffing it and painting it in your spare time like the rest of us Ford told to kick rocks** fixed that for you

I went to test drive and check out a Tremor yesterday. I was asking the dealership for a discount because of the rusted axle.

Are you guys who have taken delivery seeing the same surface rust on rear axle and exhaust hangers as I have seen on other 2021s?

I took delivery of my 22 401 Tremor that I had ordered the first of September. No rust on rear axle or springs. MPG is low. Running 78 on Interstate I am getting 16 MPG. Hope it gets better as I get some miles on it.

Picked mine up on Wednesday rear end looks good.

My 22 has rust on the axle. Just noticed it today. I’ve got 4200 miles on it. It’s funny, the 2012 F 150 with 177k on it, that I traded in had zero rust anywhere. Kind of miffed to be honest.
