Best Level Kits?

How mine sits with Halos towing the boat

View attachment 18728
Do you have the RAS as well? I'm going to be towing a trailer with a SxS so might not be as tongue heavy as that looks.
Do you adjust the Halo's when hitched up? Or just run it because to close to the water to care.
Thoughts on air springs on the back for overall ease of use?
Thx, ~G

No RAS though I have looked into it. Seems like a solid option. You would not need it for a SxS though. Mine still has slight rake with both my boats, even my single axle, plus my Diamondback is 120+whatever I have in the bed. There is no adjustment to the halos other than the front coilover collars. I would go with RAS over airbags personally if you felt the need.

FWIW, I went with Motofab 1.5 and got exactly 1.5 of lift on front end. Note, I also reduced rear block a bit, and though not yet towing anything, went ahead and added RAS for use of payload, so truck wouldn't sag as much, nearer to level. Couldn't be happier with setup.

Anyone know if adjusting coilovers another turn out to raise the truck 1/8-1/4" would require another alignment? Is that enough to throw things off or wear the tires uneven?

Yes. Any time you do any front suspension changes at all you get an alignment

I adjusted mine 2-3 turns and I was still in the green.

Occasionally you might get lucky like that, but the key point is you still had it checked.

2023 f150 Tremor Azure Gray.
Debating on an AS 2.0, 2.5 or Readylift 2.0 leveling kits? I'll be using the stock wheels with Mickey Thompson Baja Boss A/T's 295/70/18.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

How do you like it
Love it. Here's some more reading if you have not yet seen the Halo thread:

I have a 23 tremor on order and have been looking everywhere for a leveling kit. Is the halo kit and arm the best option out there? What is the longevity of the shocks?

Best is subjective. But all of us who have the Halos have been really happy with them. I don't remember the recommended rebuild schedule, but they are rebuildable.

The rebuild will be determined by use, I think they recommended 60k but if you use it a lot offroad in nasty conditions you may consider less than that.

First post and you guys scared him off. Welcome to the forum.

If your cheap or just want the look, do the Auto Spring 1.5"-2.5" puck.

You want a performance feel and good quality set up, do the Halo kit. No rear block.

Note.
1- 2.5" is pretty close to level, but the CV angles are steep. Ton's running this height with no problems yet.
2- When the truck is leveled anything over 500lbs tongue weight will make it look squatted. Or a heavy load in the bed.
3- The level kit does not affect BlueCruise or any sensors but it's always good to get them recalibrated when it's in for service.

Just saved you from reading thousands of posts. Yes, it looks ok with stock tires, but 35's look better. There is another thousand plus posts on will they fit or rub you can search.

Yes you are absolutely correct about a level kit squatting with a load on the hitch. Here is my stock 402a looking perfectly level with my 19 airstream. A front level would definitely cause rear squat and reduce steering control unless you use a weight distribution hitch. I have a wd hitch for when we pull the trailer with my wife's Touareg. Thank you for pointing out that nice Halo kit and is there a weight distribution hitch on the pontoon boat picture? Thanks again.

The 2.5” AS kit is great. Doesn’t change ride quality at all since it doesn’t compress the spring like a lot of other leveling kits.

I love mine.
Mine is in the mail now. Reading all the info in here has me trippin balls.....lol. How long have you had yours installed? Did you do UCA's also or are those stock? are you worried about any of the angles or wearing stuff out prematurely? Do you go off-road? any issues if you do? Thanks for your time, I hope you are enjoying your truck, I freaking love mine!
