What's new

Cranbery's Build - "Homelander"

I have a couple of those, but I'd like to see them make a smaller slider.
Maybe mount it between the seat and console, just depends on how much space you have, or even inside the console, it's lockable as well, double the security.

Wanted to share what I've added so far... my girlfriend named the truck Homelander, I figured it was fitting. '22 oxford white 402A, every option (Granger ftw).

Had to use IMGUR because my S22 Ultra takes some omega high def pictures and they apparently are too large for the forum. This is the whole album:

Future plans not yet added:

- Leveling kit (preferably coilovers), waiting for a Tremor kit, or one of the forum guinea pigs to confirm a good working kit
- Method 305's, powdercoated in orange to match the exterior trims, with black beadlock screws (comparing powdercoat swatches now from prismaticpowders.com)
- 35"s, some A/T or R/T, thinking toyos or baja boss
- Sound system adjustment, likely a bigger amp and sub - the "premium" system is pretty lackluster imo, probably the biggest dissappointment in the truck.
- Already ordered pedal covers, waiting on them to arrive
- Have the glove light, phone light, cup holder light, and center console light (this one is from f150 leds) as well as the harnesses from the guy on F150gen14 ready to go, just waiting on the cupholder light ring to come in so I can take apart the dash once... it's on backorder nationwide. Place I ordered from said 4-5 weeks at least.
- Heavily leaning towards the amp power steps

This post has my kit that is organized throughout my truck:

Looks amazing!

Here's another option for handguns.

New rim choice due to the powdercoating issue

18x9 +18

Shop is ordering parts, should be done in a couple of weeks.

That’s gonna look really good. I’m a huge fan of the stock wheels but this will look slick on the white truck.

Added the pedal covers. They look GREAT. Really an improvement, in feel also. This is how they should have come from factory.

Also got these knob covers from a father son business on Etsy, the orange is pretty close. Cheap, cool little way to add some color imo. Can just slip them off if I get tired of them. Will also protect the knobs.

Knob protection is important

Got the holster in today. It's the alien hook and loop, it's basically a velcro pad with a really strong adhesive and the holster sticks onto the pad. It's very sturdy, I had my doubts but it's legit. Perfect for the center console.

Get some Kaizen Foam and make a custom storage holder. This is one I tried in my Expy. I made one where you could lift the cups out and hide my XDS. Not for instance access but to hide it in the car if needed. No one would know the gun is under the cups but forum members.

Alright tremor family, here's this week's update.

I added the behind the seat organizer, love it so far. Also big kudos to whoever recommended the orange mud seat covers, have already used them multiple times on bike outings and kayaking.

I added the AVS window shades in matte black, I like how they look and the added sun protection.

Got a raptor style tremor decal off Etsy for my retrax canister to add some flavor to the bed, i think it turned out well.

The universal built right panels came in, they fit perfect. I ordered the 25" x 15.5" and cut them to 11" on the 15.5" side with a grinder, slipped them up behind retrax rail, drilled 4 holes each and screwed in using the builtright mounting kit. Because they are mounted a little spaced out, they can overlap the f150 specific panels a bit and work fine. I added them above the wheel well on both sides and it added a lot of functionality. With this i finished organizing my bags and locked up some items, my bike chains came in too so I have this good to go for whenever I have stuff like that in the bed with the cover open.

I specifically mounted and locked the bolt cutters in a way so you can't use them to cut any of the other locks or cables, and outside of a pit stop with the bikes in the bed my retrax is always closed.

Coming soon:

- RCI and talon skid plates are in, will be installing this weekend or next hopefully
- when I put the truck on my buddy's lift to do the skids, in also going to scuff the rust off the back end and do the black rust proof paint
- shop should be getting the parts in next week, my auto spring 2.5" kit already came in, just waiting on them to get the wheels, tires, and load leveling kit so I can drop it off for the install

I like the tactical paper towels.

@Cranbery - did you get the full RCI skid set (engine/mid) and will be ditching the Tremor bash plate?
Negative. I got the RCI gas skid and the talon transmission skid, just to have a full metal set since the tremor engine plate is already metal. I only ordered the ones that weren't metal. Installing on may 7th, will post pics from below the lift

The Tremor ones are just a bash plate though right? Not a skid plate?

Didn't know there was a difference tbh. I assume RCIs is probably more heavy duty but a metal plate is good enough for me. I'll spend the extra money on a sound system.

One provides protection, one is a tin can that keeps small rocks from your undercarriage

I’m wanting a safe because I have a kid and don’t leave unsecured firearms around. I’m hoping to figure out a way to mount a Vaultek Slider somewhere.
Install a bolt-in eyelet. Run the cable lock that comes with your blaster and it’s a nice way to secure a pistol from your average smash and grab thief. (Don’t have my truck yet so I’m not sure if there’s a bolt to do that) If not, you can use the same thing to cable lock the gun to the seat pillars.
