F150 Tremor FORScan

Yes, but there is a caveat. I just did this today.

You can enable Reverse Mirrors in Forscan using just the "simple" programming dialogs. It has to be enabled in BOTH the APIM and IPC modules. Once you do that, reset both modules just in case, and it will appear on your center display in Vehicle settings under Mirrors. Then while in reverse, you use the "mirror select" button to choose one mirror to dip and it will go down, or leave the mirror selected and it will dip automatically when you enter reverse. You NEED the full power seat option with memory recall for this to work as it relies on the memory to return the mirror to its original position.

Here is the caveat. I CANNOT get the mirror to stop going down. It just bottoms out and goes CLUNK CLUNK CLUNK as it overrides its stops. If you deselect the mirror it will return to its original memory position. I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or haven't set it up correctly. I tried using the mirror adjustment switch during its downward travel and the mirror did stop, then when I went back to park it returned to normal, but upon going back into reverse it overran the bottom travel again. Amusingly, the help file directs you to the owner's manual for further info but I didn't get a printed manual with my truck, and the online "clickable" one (which completely sucks IMO) says absolutely nothing about it either.

Coincidentally this is the EXACT same problem I had when I tried enabling this option on my 2016 502A. It's clearly an intended feature since it's right there in the menu, complete with help file, but why it's not working properly I don't understand. It also seems very strange that this would be something Ford has included as an option for at least 7 years but never enabled it, and I refuse to believe it's because they couldn't get the mirror to stop tilting down.

The mirrors on this gen are MUCH smaller than my '16 and I would really like for this feature to work. The 360 camera is great but it's imprecise; I want to see exactly where my rear tire's going when I'm backing up.

I think to get it to stop clicking you have to calibrate the reverse till, check out this post over on the forscan forum...

I just did the glare free lights in forscan but got the service interrupted while trying to access the ipma everything else worked perfect and glare free seems to be working is there anyway to get the last module to work or is it even needed?

Does anyone know if this is only for Blue Cruise or can copilot 2.0 also use this?

I just installed a trailer brake and module I bought from a ford dealership. Install was a breeze and took it to ford to have it turned on or flashed. Ford said they couldn’t flash it. For no reason they said it was either not a genuine ford product (I know for certain it is) or it’s a bad module. Am I better off getting a cheap Amazon ELM327 CABLE hooking it up and enabling it?

Is there a way to turn the signal light in the mirror on all the time like a drl?

I was sincerely asking if it is legal as I do not know.
In that case, you'd have to check your state law and any dept of transportation regulations but I'm willing to bet damn near ANY modification of safety equipment isn't "permitted". That said, there is usually some specific verbiage about what is allowed or not for side marker lights and what colors they may or may not be.

Now having the side white area lights on would not be legal. But I would love to be able to keep them on above 5 MPH.

I am talking about this light, not the one underneath.

Guys I got a $19 dollar cord on Amazon and turn that shit on myself. I cannot believe the stupidity from these techs at ford.

There is a marker light and a side area light in that cluster. I am talking about having the white part of it stay on above 5 MPH.

Sorry my reply was for Escape Hatch asking if it was legal, just wanted to verify what light I was talking about.

Just responded to your PM with some Canadian as-built info. Let me know if that doesn't work and we can try and dig a little deeper to figure out what is different on your truck. I have a running thread over on the 14gen forum and I have been able to get it sorted out for several different truck configurations. Hopefully we can get you sorted as well. You will be the first Canadian truck attempt I believe since its normally already active.
FWIW, I have a 2022 402A Tremor here in B.C., Canada - I have the dynamic bending feature but no glare free option so not sure about the generally accepted statement that Canadian trucks have this feature enabled.

OK Guys,
I read all 30 pages. Been looking thru all of the tutorials and YouTube vids.
Got the good cable on Amazon, getting ready to download the app and play around. 🤞
I have a Mexican 401A(?)
Want to change over the boost gage from Kpa to PSI.
Can anyone tell me where to look?
