February 2022 Order - NO VIN

Even though I have a VIN and a build date of 9/26, I have my doubts Ford will actually get it done before they switch the line to 23's.

Yep - I see the punts to the 26th as Ford hoping some impossible supply issue somehow works itself out.

Who said thats not possible? I dont think anyone knows yet. Once Ford runs out of room for 22's then they (Ford, not dealers) will decide what to do with 22 orders they havent fulfilled, and as far as I know they have not issued anything in regards to that yet. I guess I should clarify. I was hoping that I could force my order to get moved to MY23. But speaking with Chip, my understanding is that I would have to cancel my current MY22 order and re-order a MY23 (at the current pricing). That's not to say that Ford won't do that if/when they decide to stop making the 22s. But that is at their discretion.

Yes, Ford's call, not the customer or dealer. Without having a VIN yet I would guess you will get rolled to a 23. Only other option would be for Ford to completely cancel your order. Not unheard of from them, but it is also bad PR. Since they rolled customers with 21's to 22's and price protected them I think there is a good chance of getting rolled and price protected, but if they go this route again I wonder if they will price protect 100% or just do some sort of discount off of the new 23 price so that they arent giving away as much.

Just got the email from Ford today, Truck is off chip hold and is built. Delivery to Granger should be between Sept 8 and the 14th.

Someone on the 14th gen forum in a similar situation said their dealer mentioned Ford was providing a $5k cash offer to reorder a MY23.

I never did get assigned a VIN, which is a bit puzzling to me since other people who ordered after me received theirs.

Same as me. Ordered in January. Many people from same dealership getting their trucks despite ordering after me. Notified today that it will not be filled and I can get my 1k deposit back or order a 2023. No price protection. End of the line priority code back where I started in January. I did a ford chat tonight and they said it is up to the dealers on honoring price and whether it is rolled over to a 2923 etc. Dealer said it is up to Ford. Does anyone know the truth on what happens next? Because if I am now a priority code 19 after being a 2 for over 2 months and ordering in January, I agree a trail boss or AT4 is in my future despite me owning nothing but ford for years and really wanting this tremor.
