Ford CEO, Jim Farley teased a new F150 Rattler will be announced tomorrow. Any thoughts on what it might be?

I’m afraid Ford is spread a bit thin already. I’d like to ask them to put their efforts and resources into getting caught up with our trucks, a complete build, no shortcuts before they go building another model. Geez.
First thing I thought too. Let's focus on delivering the existing offerings.

I guess I don’t see the purpose. Why not just an XL FX4? I agree with @Tremhunter. They have plenty of problems already.

I agree if it had been a shorter wheelbase Tremor style I could have understood their reasoning but I just don't see a purpose for this.

I agree but new shiny offerings get more orders and that is what Ford is really after.

Ford Rattler = Ford Trail Boss Custom
Feel bad for the rattler forum folks when they try to figure out what's the tow capacity 😑

My thoughts exactly.. will be nice to have one of the only Tremors in the area (eventually) and then see 50 rattlers out and about.

I was a little worried that it was somehow going to be a better version of the Tremor (wouldn't make any sense for ford to do that, but whatever). I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw it.
No, with a name like Rattler it was always going to be a budget build.

Looks like return of Avalanche gray to the F150 lineup, and not Raptor-exclusive this time.

My favorite is when a new guy comes and proclaims to have the answer because he found something definitively stated in a brochure from Ford so it must be fact.

I agree, a lot less tech means a lot less chips, faster production builds, more deliveries.
I agree - I wonder if they sat down and said "hey, what's something cool we can build with the parts that we have?"

I was thinking a Tremor with the 5.0. And shaker hood.
