Ford CEO, Jim Farley teased a new F150 Rattler will be announced tomorrow. Any thoughts on what it might be?

I don't know...SIG Sauer makes a Rattler, and it's pretty awesome! 😁😁
Ha true. This will probably be more of a cam phaser rattle that a rat-a-tat rattle.

I’m a desert kid so rattler sounded badass to me. I was a little worried it might be cooler than the truck I just got.

Nope. That thing is ugly

Seems like it's most just an appearance package + dual exhaust. Was there mention of available power trains?
TFL mentioned that the 2.7L EB, 3.5L EB, 5.0 V8, and PowerBoost will be offered in the Rattler. This is probably the Rattler's biggest advantage over the Tremor. Makes me wonder if more engine options will be added to the Tremor for 2023 .

With the current way things are going 2023 Tremors will just be stripped down 2022 Tremors.

Maybe the Rattler uses microchips from old sony walkmans so they can actually produce them.

Maybe I'm alone in this but I feel the BAP and Rattler are devaluing the Tremor. All this hype about the Tremor having it's own specific bumper/exhaust, hood, grille, blacked out lights, etc. lost a lot of appeal to me now. It's the only model/trim with just a single engine option and it's not even the H.O. version. FoMoCo offered 0% financing and rebates but not for the Raptor or Tremor because they're "special editions." I wish I would have known this and I would have stuck out the wait for a Raptor or ordered a BAP with the 5.0, added the Torsen myself (with the money I saved) and waited until someone finds the ForScan codes for drive modes.

Hi-Lock transfer case is a big upgrade for the Tremor that makes it stand out. Trail turn assist is kinda a gimmick, but if you take a large truck into tight spots it could be killer to have. But I’m with you, I have been tempted to order a Platinum with the BAP add the Torsen and sacrifice a little off road performance.

The transfer case is one of the features I really wanted, so we're multi-contour seats tho. And the Hi-lock is only offered in the 402A. And there are a couple guys on the forums that have added the Hi-lock to standard F-150s.

The T case is cheaper and easier to add than the messaging seats?

I'm not sure about cost but I'm sure it's easier to find since it's been the same t-case since it's been released and off your able to find multi-contour seats, will they be gen 14 and would you be able to use OEM seat covers? I just think the t-case would be the easier of the two swaps but who knows.

I came from a platty and the massaging seats were a hit with the daughter and an great “check this shit out” to buddies but I don’t miss them at all. I’d take my 402a over a platty any day!

You're far from alone. The BAP is a slap in the face and a good lesson learned on my part about how Ford operates.

Rattlers might be a good thing for us though: If it uses the tremor suspension components maybe the aftermarket suspension guys will be sufficiently motivated to pay us some attention.

I agree. More aftermarket sorry is about the only positive I can think about. I guess time will tell :/
