What's new

Ford is now dropping the connected navigation and Sirius/XM on F150s ?

I think your dealer is wrong. I watched the sales manager pull my 402A up on his computer. The only thing that is deleted is the start/stop. He said he had already called those effected since they have to sign a bunch of forms acknowledging all of the items and functions being removed from their orders.
Let’s hope so! Ordered a bronco and tremor in early Feb, bronco got built today and only update I have on my tremor was this bad news. Going to talk with him tomorrow and get it all sorted out.

I just emailed my dealer for a semi urgent call in the morning inquiring on this subject, he called me last week and told me the news. I now want him to find out for sure if the 402A's are affected if he can. Mostly though.....want to make sure.....after our conversation last week I certainly didn't want to agree to the removal if it didn't apply to my 402A. I'll let you fella's and fella'ettes know what I hear back.

Well the dealer as I figured didn't know much, told him what the general consensus was with 400/401 versus 402, he really didn't know. But I told him since he called me a week or more ago and I agreed to keep my order that he should not sign any "removal codes" for this j/i/c my 402 is not affected. He said that he does not sign any acknowledgements for removal like this. And that "Ford will build them the way they want..sadly" He's a good dude, wasn't trying to be a jerk......he just doesn't know.

So the dealer should be able to pull up your order based on the order number and see how things have been changed, if at all. For example, my dealer opened up my order number as a "Preview Order" and the sheet had been updated (automatically, I presume) to show that my OPTIONAL Co-Pilot Assist had been removed and replaced with the $200 discount. I may be wrong about it happening automatically but that seemed to be what my dealer implied when he sent the updated sheet.

First photo is original build sheet. Second is updated after the removal.

Have you been scheduled for production?

No, I cancelled my order after they dropped that. Too much money to spend to not get exactly what I want at this time. I may revisit the idea once details of the 2023 are released but for now am just going to continue wringing out my Tacoma.

Ah, wondering if anyone else in chip hold purgatory got the email (for those 400/401 only)...

THanks BRT,

Yah I will ask him to print this sucker out again soon, I haven't done so since order on 4/30 so I'm a ways out anyways!

Just got informed that Co-Pilot360 Active (Bluecruise) needs to get deleted for the truck to get produced (I'm unscheduled), so this does apply to 402As to some extent.

Leaving it on my order as I'm not ready to make that concession yet.

I'd question that. I had a regional rep confirm the details that another member posted earlier. I'll attach and highlight, but we talked all last week and again on Monday. My 402a still has the option listed and Ford did not remove it on the 27th as they stated. Regional rep feels 402a is not impacted.

It may have changed again but with order banks potentially opening on 7/18 I may just hold for a 23'.

When was your order confirmed/placed?

Confirmed on 2/8. I told my sales person to leave the Active package on and I'll consider my options for rolling into MY23 if it doesn't get scheduled.

I hope you are right, but they are confident that it will not get produced. I'll probably just wait it out, although I was already told there would be no price protection with a new MY23 order.

I purchased a 2022 Shelby F150 Super Snake Wednesday and I am learning not all 2022's may not have came with XM Radio and Navigation built in. If I don't see it on the dash (Nav or XM as a source) it is not a standard option on the 2022 Shelby I have correct?

You don't have them, from the factory at least; they were removed from the truck your Shelby was built from-
