Honest Eibach Review Needed

Put my truck into sport mode to drive around and I noticed that I could feel something clunking in the steering wheel from the 4A being activated. Is this normal or is it possibly because I leveled it? Was thinking the CVs are at a more aggressive angle cause this. Any thoughts?
Does it increase with speed? My truck vibrates like the front drive shaft or something might be a little out of balance. Do you have the torsen diff?

I do have the Torsen, I will have to try it again soon to see about the speed. I noticed it in the gas pedal too. Wondering if Ford built in some steering wheel feedback so that you are aware of the fronts being engaged on smooth pavement because I’d think it would not be noticeable off road 🤷‍♂️

I also have the torsen diff and notice it when in 4a. Took me a while to get used to it.

It’s funny, I tested it again last night and it’s much more exaggerated in my memory because it wasn’t nearly as bad as I remembered. It feels more like tires that have chaffing in the tread pattern. I noticed it when turning and just after straightening up the wheel then shortly afterwards it calms down. I’m wondering if it’s just the nature of 4A and traction on pavement. It also stands out because in sport mode the wheel stiffens up and it makes me think it’s the front wheels struggling to slip.

So I have about 300 miles on this setup so far and I'm still deciding if it's what I was looking for overall. I put the truck up in the air to just do a quick check on everything and noticed that both of the rear shocks are leaking where the reservoir line goes into the shock body. Truck hasn't seen anything other than pavement since the install. I have contacted Eibach about this and am waiting to hear back from them. Has anyone else ran into this?

FYI I noticed a note in my shipment that said that some oil around the fittings was normal and from the manufacturing process. Hopefully that is all it is but they may give you that when you contact them

Well, at least it’s not leaking from the weld point on the shock body.
I wonder if it needs to be tightened.

Teflon tape. 🤣

Didn’t have any notes in the box about that and nothing in any off the attachments that came with it. This is more than residual oil, it has actually ran down the shock body. It was dry as a bone when they were installed. We’ll see what they say

A little different than I remembered but here it is

Hear you go.
Make your selection.

I took the 2R offroad for the first time today and it was great. Granted, I also had my big 315s, but the eibachs let me hit things at speed better than stock.

While they are a bit more jittery than stock on the road, they are well worth it.

Please keep us updated. I was torn between this and Halo.
Seems like if you want to level out your truck, and improve ride quality/comfort at the same time, Halolifts Stage 3 (the one with the dual compression adjusters) is the way to go. Major downside is that its $$$ at right around 5k if you include the UCAs. I wonder how the Halo Stage 1 compares with the Eibachs. Icon is another option but from feedback on this forum, as well as non-Tremor forums it seems to be way too firm for most.

I was looking at the stage 1, seems like the price is about the same. The lift amount is the same too. What drew me to eibach was the resi rear shocks. I would like to know which one feels softer like factory but have t found anyone who has ridden in both. The spring rate is the same as well. I do like the aluminum body Elka shocks a bit more. It’s a really tough choice.

I think both are progressive valving and like you said spring rates are the same so I'm sure they at least are similar. At the end of the day i think both will still be noticeably firmer than stock. I avoid puck spacers as i do run my truck off road a fair bit but it seems like that's the only way to retain that 100% factory plushiness.

just installed mine, fingers crossed I don't have any issues and I hope yours is just excess and not a problem with the shocks....

What setting are ppl running the front struts at? Is it incredibly stiff at max height? I get mine tomorrow and will install on Friday.

Left mine at where they came out of the box which I think is max. Not stiff at all imo

I also left mine at the stock setting. IMHO it’s perfect. I’ve put about 2k miles on mine and I’m still amazed at how much nicer the truck is to drive now. It’s super smooth on the highway and yet it doesn’t have that floaty/boaty wallow feel that the stock suspension has. Once you install the Eibachs you’ll realize how under damped the stock suspension was.
